  1. Unfortunately they can't score more than 10 points so it's completely useless.
  2. Hoecht with another good rep. Just great execution from Dalton and McMillan
  3. Lol Cook 146 yards rushing already get the man to 200
  4. We don't know that. It wouldn't be a first time Josh just didn't see one
  5. I saw Poyer on 1st and 2nd down and Hancock on 3rd
  6. Was it Hancock instead of Poyer on the 3rd down?
  7. Inactives? I'd say Jones, Palmer, Jackson, Lundt, one of Milano/Bernard and either Kincaid or Codrington.
  8. I have a gut feeling that we will lose to Chiefs next week and then finally beat them in the playoffs. But to make this 4D chess master plan work, we really need to win tonight.
  9. Great news. Now Max do something so we can be more optimistic for the rest of the season.
  10. Again, what are you even talking about? Walker is a starter. Hawes plays a lot. Sanders played a lot until he was hurt. Strong played until he was hurt and if he wasn't he'd be most likely starting at this point. Same with Hairston. Only guys they don't play are Jackson who is deep in depth chart and Hancock. And they play rookies every year. You make no sense.
  11. Not to mention that saying that having 2nd year 2nd round pick as your starter is "complete failure" on team building is just silly. You may not like the player but it's not team building failure. Yeah but when you try criticize everyone and everything you don't care.
  12. Yeah but why miss another opportunity to be mad at Beane/McDermott?
  13. Absolutely this. @TheFunPolice I strongly disagree that there is "zero" pass rush. Our pass rush is very good esp. with Oliver in. Problem is that it doesn't matter if coverage sucks. And that is real problem. Rapp is bad, Bishop inconsistent, Tre old and slow, and as @BearNorth said our two best guys in Taron and Benford regressed a lot. Especially Benford needs to get it together. Taron is getting older, but Benford should be in his prime and something is wrong.
  14. To quote myself, don't tell me that Allen and Palmer are not capable to pull out what Maye and Boutte just did at the end of half. Just use Palmer's strengths. This is on Brady.
  15. WTF did just Titans do. 49 seconds, 3 timeouts and you just give up?
  16. And Jets fans will hate him for screwing their draft position
  17. Just curious, why do you think he "panicked"? I think he wanted Addison and hoped he would fall, or was ready to move up a little. But he went sooner. So he picked next guy available, who happened to be Kincaind. Where's the panic in that? To be clear, I do agree with this. And I do agree that he could've done more. I just strongly disagree with the opinion that he doesn't care about WRs or is satisfied with what we have. He just had very very few realistic options and failed to utilize them. And it can't be all on him. Both Palmer and Coleman are better then their numbers suggest. Brady needs to use them better.
  18. Again, Metcalf was the only real option. If you want to blame Beane for not wanting to pay him, fine — that's a valid opinion, in my view. But beyond that, he didn’t really have a choice. We had no shot at landing Egbuka or McMillan, and there was no one worth targeting in free agency either. And yes, it's not just bad timing or bad luck — but those things played a huge role. Opportunities to land a true WR1 were extremely rare, and I honestly don’t understand why that’s so hard for some people to see (or admit). That also applies to the so-called “generational” 2024 WR draft. We had zero chance at Marvin Harrison Jr., Nabers, or Odunze. Even BTJ was probably out of reach, despite many people around here thinking otherwise (there was no realistic trade partner). After that, the realistic options were Worthy, Legette, McConkey, Mitchell, Coleman, Pearsall, Polk, and Franklin — and we picked one. Now everyone’s acting like it was obvious McConkey should’ve been the pick, but let’s not rewrite history. The consensus ranking on TBD was something like: Mitchell > Legette > Franklin/Worthy/McConkey > Coleman. And then we had a chance to double dip — which I would’ve done, just to increase the odds of hitting the jackpot — but unless I missed something, nobody from that class is exactly lighting up the NFL right now.
  19. You keep saying this like everyone knew about this except for Beane, who had dozen or so options how to deal with this. In truth the only option available was Metcalf and then maybe Pickens, who is a head case. I don't remember any other realistic option how to add true WR1, draft or FA. Beane decided that Metcalf was not worth draft picks AND $30m+ AAV (probably, since we don't know if DK himself wanted to come here and what was Seattle's asking price towards us). Was it a good decision? I don't know, probably not. But it was like an only option to do something. His rant was stupid and unprofessional. But I don't think it meant he was satisfied with our WR room. It is just way tougher to do something with it when you and most posters here make it. I really don't think that "everybody eats" is something they believe in, they are just forced to say it since we don't have true WR1. I am pretty sure Beane would love to have one. EDIT: If you want Beane's head for not getting Metcalf and going all in with his contract, then that's fair. But let's not pretend there were other realistic options to get WR1.
