Anyone who doesn't think that Beane will try to draft WR in R1 this year is not paying attention. And I also think he'll try to get another one in later rounds. Only question is how hard he will try. Depends on where we end up drafting and which players will he like. If it was up to me, I'd be ready to give up next year's no. 1 if there was a guy I wanted and I thought he was that much better than alternative options. And I am usually against any trade ups. We really need some relatively cheap top end WR talent. I bet Beane thinks the same.

It's not always easy, but when you are a fan, you don't care For me primetime is 2 or 2.30 am. Sometimes I manage to get some sleep before that, but most time I don't, so then I sleep from 6am to 11am and go to work later. I've always had a work which allowed me to do that thankfully. I hope for 4 more primetime games this year lol.

He sure plays like one, but just looking at the stats, he has heavy competition in Madubuike (13 sacks) and Jones (9,5 sacks + big name). But there are 2 All pro teams so he should be in 2nd at worst.

I will say this many times before the draft, but this is not happening. I can't guarantee we draft WR high this year, but I am pretty sure that it will be Beane's top priority. Front office sees what we see.

I might be naive but I think he told him go and win the whole damn thing. I think he has a soft spot for Josh and likes McD too.

My guess is that this is it for this week. Daquan won't play vs Pats and won't be on the roster. After the game they will decide what to do with Shorter and Jones. There might be injuries which will make things (unfortunately) easy. If nothing bad happens, my guess is that either Spector or (more likely) Jonathan will be released. Or Ford maybe.

Which is really sick, and tells you how big of a game Dolphins/Ravens is. If we get 2nd seed, PO will be something like Colts at home, Chiefs/Browns/Dolphins at home and AFCCG at Ravens. If we get 6th seed, PO will be something like Chiefs on road, Ravens on road and AFCCG at Dolphins/Browns. Quite a difference.

Agreed, after seeing that link I came to post the same thing. But I don't believe he'll sign for such a bargain. You will. Personally if those top WRs are as good as advertised I'd be willing to trade up for next year's R1 pick to get one. But let's see how the season ends first.

Since to me we have 2 difference makers right now - Allen and Oliver. Not sure we can count Diggs based on last weeks. So, we have a chance if Diggs performs on an elite level?

I was watching from 4th quarter, and I just rewatched those 7 seconds of beauty. I absolutely love that Chiefs lost (among other things) because of a stupid trick play which made no sense whatsoever - direct snap to RB who hands it over to Mahomes. Keep up the good work Andy.

Didn't read the thread. I just want to say that I think he will be at least useful come playoff time and I definitely didn't give up on him. Give him time.
