Bumping this one since I don't want to start new topic and don't know where to put this. Anybody has a clue what happened with Josh Allen contract in these past days? I am checking sportrac regurarly and all the time since the roster was set we had about -$4.5M cap space next year. Right now, it shows about $12.7M positive cap space. The difference is $17M. I tried to find out what happened and I am pretty sure it's Allen's cap hit. All the time it was about $60M next year and right now it only shows $43M. Fwiw, overthecap shows the same. I've been excited about him since we drafted him, because after reading about him I never understood why he was 5th round pick in the first place. His sack was a piece of beauty and apparently he played well overall. Only problem I see is that it will be hard for him to get on the field behind Groot, AJ, Von and Smoot. But I am sure he'll get his chances.
