  1. Are you nuts? Do you really want to bring sense to this discussion? Thank God we have @Back2Buff who knew at the time of the pick that it should've been Mitchell, McConkey or McMillan and is here to remind us. Sarcasm off. We have absolutely no idea how it all pans out. Let's give Keon some time. Out of curiosity, what were you saying about Spencer Brown after the pick and after his first two seasons?
  2. I have to say it is very entertaining to see Jets and Rodgers being happy about winning meaningless game which makes them pick 9 instead of 6 or so (and I get that players want to win).
  3. Just curious, can somebody brief me if TBD already switched from being scared of Cincy to being scared of unstoppable Broncos?
  4. Didn't read the whole thread, and I don't have a good memory, but wasn't Vrabel available last year?
  5. Can you imagine that Tampa drafted him using our 12th pick in 2018 draft? We could've had him!
  6. Nope. I am so worried about Dline, Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, McDermott and Babich that I don't have any more room for another things to be worried about!
  7. We all made good guesses. I thought about Oliver but went for Samuel instead, but apparently he is good to go, which was indicated by elevations too. Taron is a bonus Interesting that they went 8 inactives.
  8. 40 mins to go, so be quick Dawkins Cooper Samuel Bernard Rousseau Jones Benford
  9. Is it ok to ask what happened in Bengals - Steelers thread that it was apparently deleted?
  10. I don't remember this being ever discussed before - do you think Brown could possibly move to LT in the future? I don't understand what the difference in requirements/abilities to play both positions is, but I understand some tackles are able to play both and some aren't. So what about Brown?
  11. If Sportrac has it right it's $1,255,000 with no guarantees. So if he stays in 2025 and Mitch is cut that save us roughly $1,2M.
  12. I didn't read the whole thread but my money when it comes to Jets is on Rex Ryan. Guy wants back to the NFL and Jets are not preferred destination to many.
  13. This is where I am at. I am normally in don't draft RBs high don't pay RBs camp, but Cook is really really good, like top 8 NFL or so good. So I'd make an offer. Question is what a fair offer is. I think based on the numbers @Sierra Foothills posted below he'd get about 36/3 on the open market, and that seems too much to me. I'd immediately sign him for 24/3. Another thing that bothers me is that I'd probably keep Shakir for 15-16/y (I guess he'll get more). And that makes me think - is Shakir really that much valuable? Don't know.
  14. Yeah he has already earned $2.5M for 4 sacks and can get another $1.5M if he gets to 6. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/7717/von-miller
  15. There is really 1-5 voting? So those who really want Lamar may screw Josh by putting Barkley on 2nd place. I'd decent money that this will happen with some voters. But it won't matter, Josh gets it anyway.
  16. Yeah the other thing is that before this season we used to handle them pretty well as far as I remember. Granted, they didn't have Henry before, but still. So there is a hope that it will look different this time with healthy back 7 and DL peaking at the right time (hopefully).
  17. Agree with this. I'll add that I am really only worried about defense against the Ravens. They seem to be really bad matchup for us. Against the Chiefs I think that we already proved that healthy unit can hold its own, and we seem to be as healthy as ever.
  18. Agreed, makes a lot of sense. If it is Denver or Miami it won't be attractive for more prominent times, so it will be first game either on Saturday or on Sunday. And Houston sucks no matter what so Sunday 1 pm it is!
  19. This is post of the year for me, well done sir. As a fan I also sometimes question McD and I will certainly do so if we for example lose to Baltimore in WC again this year, but your post perfectly sums how valuable McD is and how in fact all comes down to 13 seconds. Having said that, if he doesn't get it done this season or the next one, I'd try something else for the sake of trying something else. If fact, if we don't get to SB this year, I'd love Sean to say that if the team doesn't get to SB next year, he will step down by himself. It never happens but that is how I'd do it.
  20. Great. So now Acho will come out and say that Allen can have early PO exit and still consider season a success since his consecutive start streak is alive
  21. Yeah I just had the same comment in post game thread. Bishop's play is the only negative today. Unfortunately, he is not getting better so far.
