  1. I am just saying that if you think that this defense (in regular season) sucks, then there is no defense in NFL you'd be satisfied with.
  2. Same as always you say? So top 5 again?
  3. In before @GunnerBill Toohill is useless comment
  4. Ingram and Lewis are playing at the same time? I am confused.
  5. Yeah, it's not like they were top 5 defense in 3 of last 4 years or something... GTD in midseason form 1 drive in
  6. Just a small reminder that Cards are one of two teams remaining teams that Josh has never beaten (Eagles are the other one). Somehow I don't remember how we lost to them last time... Anybody knows?
  7. Interesting that Grable already surpassed Van Demark. But from what you wrote about his preseason it is perfectly justified. Anyway, I struggle to see the reason why Clapp was activated. I don't get the concept of having "true vet" on the bench. Van Pran can play, I don't care if he is a rookie or not.
  8. Grable in, Van Demark out
  9. Why everybody wants a win today? I am pretty sure that wins vs NFC teams hurt our playoff chances!
  10. I find it really crazy that here in Europe I buy Gamepass for €199 and have all games in one app and you guys need to watch every othet game on some different platform. I understand the reasons but it is still crazy.
  11. Yeah but for each of these play you can find other play in games we lost and which changed the outcome (in a negative way). We were 2nd seed. Edit: Oh I see three more people already made this point. Nevermind
  12. This seems pretty unfair statement to me. No argument about Mahomes, Jones and Kelce, but how did the other guys become part of this conversation? If you list Humphrey, Sneed, Smith or Bolton, how can you say "we drafted Josh Allen"? Are you saying than Tre White, Taron Johnson, Milano or Oliver do not belong to the same tier? Jones and Kelce are difference makers we do miss. All others are same guys we draft on regular basis. I tend to agree, but would like to some more in depth discussion about this. When people ( @GunnerBill often states the same) use term "elite players" or "difference makers", I'd like to know who do they mean. How many players would you consider elite in 2023? Would you be able to list them? My point is that I would love to see that list and then find out how many of them Beane had actual chance to draft.
  13. Almost zero chance, huh?
  14. Happy I am not arguing your overall point and based on preseason it looks like they should've kept Hardy, but this is not a correct argument. Being 5th on the depth chart as DE and CB are not the same things. If CB2 goes down, CB3 gets on the field and CB5 is still probably inactive. If DE2 goes down, DE5 gets on the field and becomes part of the rotation. In other words, we need DE5 more than CB5. I'd still keep Hardy though. Hopefully he gets back on PS.
  15. I don't disagree with your post, but if Hardy was drafted as a returner, and Cordington has much better tape as a returner, why didn't we draft him instead of Hardy?
  16. One more thing which confuses me. People talking about Hardy being possibly injured, but if he is injured, is it possible to cut him? If yes, why didn't we cut Buechele, Burgess and Delaney and have them on Injured Reserve with their cap hits counted against cap space?
  17. If he goes to PS and then on the roster, will he have his original rookie contract? Or is it gone for good with this cut?
  18. I know it is completely irrelevant, but can somebody explain to me what is to point of saying "per source" at the end of this tweet (and not just this tweet)? I mean if she doesn't say specific source than what is the point? It is clear that she is not stating her opinion. I am just wondering if this has some special meaning unknown to me (some kind of legal protection or so), or it is redundant nonsense as I suspect.
  19. Was Grable playing 2nd team LT or RT or both? If both, where did you like him more?
  20. I won't argue with this, and I know they played very well last year, but can someone explain me what (who) makes that defense that special? I am no expert, and I know they have two players who are most likely top 5 at their positions - Gardner and Quinnen Williams. DJ Reed is very good safety I guess. But other than that? Honest question. I'd like to hear why are they so good.
  21. I have only one: Bills, Oilers and Celtics win their respective leagues and I win 50k (bet is already in, €100, 500:1 odds).
  22. Well this sucks. Anyway, I don't get this Dorian is not ready talk. If he's not ready by now he'll never be. Nobody here had any idea how good and ready Bernard was until he started playing. Get Williams on the field and let him play. If it doesn't work out after 6-7 games, start Spector/Jones/Ulofoshio or trade for a LB before deadline.
