  1. What does this mean in reality? Let's say next year's cap is 175M, and we don't use 20M from this year's cap. Does it mean our cap next year is in fact 195M? Or are there limitations to this tolling the cap space over thing?
  2. Which leads me to a question I forgot to ask couple of times... How is that possible? I mean I know that he was one of the youngest (or THE youngest?) player to be ever drafted at 19, but how so? I know that you have to play 3 years of college, so I checked his wiki and it says he went to Virginia Tech when he was 17. You can go to college at 17 in US? In my country you need to finish high school and it's not possible before 18 birthday unless you are some kind of genius.
  3. I feel silly but what means "back up"?
  4. Ok you are right, I wouldn't call it berating but I was unnecessarily aggressive. I think my point stands (its unsportsmanlike and it is also bad for Bills/league) but I could've and should've say it in more civil way. Thanks for feedback.
  5. Not sure what you mean. They expressed their opinion and I expressed mine. And you seemed to have agreed with half of my post (that opt outs by good players are bad overall), so not sure what was your point. Not sure what you mean either I didn't want to be judge in this. I just think that it is bad to wish injury to anyone, and in similar way it is bad to be happy when players opt out due to COVID. And I used Brady as an extreme example where I can have some understanding when people wish other players something bad. Interesting take from a mod ? Looking back I could've been more civil too (avoid using "genius" and "stupid"), but still. Insect, really? I just find it weird that some people are happy about this, not realizing that it probably hurts us all. Today its Jets, tomorrow it can be us. How can people have fun from this is beyond me. If thats holier than thou for you then you have pretty low bar. Anyway, I fly away from this topic.
  6. I don't get these kind of responses. First of all it's unsportsmanlike - I don't get how you can be happy about this. It is the same thing as being happy that someone has season ending injury. I can get with it if it is Brady or Edelman for some of you, but C.J.Mosley? And sorry but it is also really stupid. Don't you get that every single opt out by good player just makes the season worse, and also increases the chance that there is no season at all? If it is Mosley today, it can be White or Morse or Brown tomorrow. I don't think it needs a genius to realize that this is bad for us as Bills fans. Some of you really deserve season to be cancelled.
  7. Let's not forget poor Julian Edelman who came up just short on place 101.
  8. Haha not fair but really funny.
  9. Translation please.
  10. Exactly. The Patriot way. We need to start strong to have division secured by w16 and intentionally lose with them just to screw them ?
  11. Sad from league perspective but understandable. I'd say many more will follow including big names such as starting QBs. There will be Bills players too. It will be very different season (if there is any season at all). I am still hoping it will sort out somehow but am not very optimistic.
  12. So if I am not missing something we are down to top 40. Anybody tries to list them without making one mistake?
  13. What are you basing this assesment on? Honest question. I am not implying otherwise, I am just a random Bills fan from Europe completely unable to recognize which offense is how complicated (I am actually contemplating starting a thread with my silly questions about things in football I still don't understand). Is this some kind of universal view or your opinion? I remember discussion with another local fan of 49ers who insisted that Shanahan is running really complicated offense which Jimmy G. is able to master but Josh has no chance to execute and he also claimed that Bills run simple offense tailored to Allen.
  14. His 2019 stats: 3089 yards, 59% completion, 20 TDs, 9 INTs and 9 rush TD. If he stays the same and team around him stays at same level, purely on the basis of Diggs and Moss additions and Knox having surer hands his stats should look like: 3500 yards, 61% completion, 25 TDs, 9 INTs, 7 rushing TDs If he takes another step, it could look like this: 3900 yards, 63% completion, 30 TDs, 9 INTs, 7 rushing TDs. In other words, I think that even if he plays on the same level, his stats need to get much better because there will be Diggs on the field instead of guys like Zay Jones or Robert Foster, which will also result in more room for everybody else. And if he actually gets better, then the jump in the stats has to be significant. We have averaged 20 points a game (with him), and I hope/believe that it will be as high as 27 this year, which is 1 TD a game more (~10 receiving and ~5-6 rushing TDs).
  15. Zay will make the roster. Best ability is availability and it is pretty clear that Zay will not catch coronavirus.
  16. Thanks Gunner, interesting read. Seems that you've done a good job, most good/top players seem to be higher on your board than they were actually taken (with notable exceptions in Mack and Beckham). Curious about following years. What I am partly missing is some comment to other players taken by Bills - in case of this draft we are probably talking about Preston Brown only - but I assume he wasn't on your board at all. At first I thought you did not comment on Kouandjio too but then I noticed him in your text. What will never stop to fascinate me are those busts. How the hell can so many scouts be wrong on guys like Greg Robinson or Justin Gilbert? Anyway, looking back, this was really amazing top-heavy draft with some elite players. Who do you guys think has a HOF potential as of now? I've been following NFL too shortly to know how relatively good those guys there are, but I'd guess Donald, Martin and to lesser extent Mack are "locks" and there is a large group of players who have some chances - Clowney, Evans, Barr, Lewan, Beckham, Fuller, Mosley, Lawrence, Adams, Landry... Or are guys like Evans and Beckham also "locks" provided that they have long enough careers?
  17. I just rewatched Ravens game last year. Josh started with overthrowing everybody but in 2nd half he was mostly spot on, and there were drops left and right. Knox, Beasley and Singletary had all major drops, and Knox had really brutal one. I don't know what was the issue but I really hope he gets better next year. That would be huge for Josh and whole offense.
  18. I wanted to write the same thing but googled a little bit and apparently Calvin Johnson had an 8yr extension.
  19. Yep I am totally addicted. Its funny how in couple years I went from not knowing anything about the game to NFL draft being my Christmas. Tyrod was just random reason for me to start watching Bills. I liked him and I thought he was criticized more than he deserved. But overall he got a chance to be a 3 years starter and it become pretty obvious over the time that he is not the solution. I love Josh and expect him to be starter for us many years. I "chose" right time to become Bills fan
  20. Pretty random turn of events. I have accidentally turned on SB XLIX on local TV without watching single minute of NFL before and I got hooked up. It is really funny that I had no idea about any rules that time and had no idea who Brady or Patriots were But the game was great so I decided to check it next season. Then early in the season I saw Bills game (looking back I am pretty sure it was Bills/Pats W2 loss, since otherwise Bills wouldn't be televised in Europe), and I really liked Tyrod's play style - it was different from what I saw from other QBs. So I started to watch him more, started to watch NFL regularly, found BBMB and became Bills fan So its thanks to Pats/Seahawks SB and then Tyrod Taylor ?
  21. It's a no for me, but I guess that makes sense since I am from Europe and I've been Bills fan only 4 years I want to come ASAP though. If there was not corona we'd probably go to Arizona road game this year, since my wife hates cold so the only chance for Bills home game is in September and we couldn't make so early this season (younger daughter goes to school for the first time). Looks like we skip it completely this year due to corona situation. My hope is that next year we get some good home games in early weeks and prices won't be that high despite winning SB ?
  22. Who in the league other than QB is superstar by your definition?
  23. I agree with this. It is hard to imagine that Diggs gets over 1k (which I believe) and at the same time Brown increases his production. I also expect Knox and RBs to produce more, and Allen won't throw 6.000 yards
  24. Sry guys don't have time to check whole thread and I didn't find answer anywhere - do we already know if the gun was illegal? Or is it clear what he violated in relation to gun? Thanks
  25. Not good. The only thing that matter now imo is if it was just a mistake and he learns from it, or if he is just another moron incapable of coping with his life. Let's all hope its the former.
