Gameday Thread PreGame Bills vs. Chiefs
No_Matter_What replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is such a lazy take (his, not yours). I rewatched carefully each snap on offense incl. All 22. From his 27 completions (26 in stat sheet + TD to Davis taken back) all but one (Diggs short on right sideline) were spot on (ok maybe one other to Beasley was little low). Roberts INT was routine NFL catch. There were 3 clear drops (Diggs 2x, Knox) and two tough catches not made by Davis. He made 5 "bad" throws by my count - INT, three forced deep throws to double coverage (Davis, Diggs, Jones) and one bad short pass to Diggs (that one could've been intercepted). He didn't take any unnecessary hits or sacks, he we elusive in pocket, he was decisive, didn't make any mistakes apart from INT and one other bad throw. Once or twice he missed open guy for shorter yardage. That is not 2018 Josh Allen (whatever that means). -
Gameday Thread PreGame Bills vs. Chiefs

One thing is for sure – there will be lots of hot takes at TBD both in game day thread as well as after the game today. If we lose, everybody will suck, heads will be called for, cuts will be demanded. There will be lot of “old Josh” talks, and above all, there will be lot of “we are pretenders, we can’t be any good team” talk. This will happen even if we lose shootout, and then whole focus will be on defense. If we win, people will go crazy, and rightfully so Go Bills! -

Has any NFL HC resigned during season? Since I think if Gase has any selfrespect he should do exactly that. -

Like I said it is very much looking like it. Jets don't have single easier game on the schedule. If Darnold doesn't come back as second coming of Joe Montana they might easily lose out. -

Low chance? AFAIK it is something like 48%, so complete coinflip. Again, yours can win it, their can tie it. And you have Watson who is hot and can run. -

Because there HAS to be one 2pt conversion in the game. Yours can win it, their can tie it. Gannon is color guy at Texans game? -

Lol that color guy in Titans - Texans game is clueless. I love when people have no clue what are they talking about but make sure they state their point as loud as possible. -

OMG why didn't Kyle Allen just run into the EZ. Anyway, with Gaints and Falcons winning Jets are getting really close to that 1st pick. They don't have one easier game on their schedule. -

I don't think we will need much outside help for winning the division but I certainly wouldn't mind Broncos surprise win. -

It screams Chiefs to me so no high hopes, but we could definitely use him. -
After this loss for the first time in season we are not projected to pick @ 32 Tankathon has us at 28, which got us to Pat Freiermuth territory. Previously they mocked either OLB Nick Bolton or EDGE Kwity Paye to us. http://www.tankathon.com/nfl/mock_draft It is really interesting since TE looks like a huge need. But so does DE, CB and LB. Given the quality of our WRs I'd go defense.

This years Titans game versus last years game
No_Matter_What replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that I don't agree with you, but point 2 should simply read - three turnovers that put the ball inside the 20. This was a major reason for our loss. You can't win a game in which competent opponents starts its drive within your own 20. EDIT: Plus there was also that punt return, so they started 4 drives inside our 30. That's insane. -
I didn't read the whole thread, but saw many people mentioning Beasley. He was great as a receiver, but he failed to tackle Butler big time after Allen's INT. He was the one who should've stopped him at Ten 40, and I can't say he didn't try, but he failed. I am not saying it would change anything, but it was still 11 point game at that time and there is a difference if they need 60 yards for TD or 10. Btw if you want to feel the pain go and rewatch it. Not the INT, but Butlers return. I am no expert, but at least Davis, Williams and Roberts could've done much more. When Beasley slowed him for the first time, there should be pile of bodies all over Butler, but they were just looking and hesitating.

Josh Allen - week FIVE report card
No_Matter_What replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is spot on. It seems to me that people overstate his bad throws today. There were some, but not that many as some make it sound, and he made lots of amazing plays. Drops didn't help either. Without INT I'd say it was probably B+, maybe even A-. That INT was really bad however, and it takes his grade one down. And exactly as you say, we had really bad field positions all day. I coultn't agree more with bolded. If this is the floor, we are definitely set at QB (which we obviously are).
