I seriously doubt that this has any impact on outcome of the games in the long run. Isn't there any stat on this? I mean how often team which starts the game with ball wins. Anyway, if I had to choose I would generally defer. Against this specific opponent I might choose the ball. But like I said, I think it is completely irrelevant.

Kudos to John Wawrow!

My thoughts exactly. Granted, I have no idea what is behind this (if there is more than Hapless explained), and it is not hard to understand from reactions in this thread that Bills fans approve his reaction, but judging from outside turning down the invitation is always ok, sharing conversation publicly less so. -
Colts OT signs with packers...what?!?

Well then we'll be the first team in NFL history to beat same player on two teams in single playoffs.- 55 replies

Avg of 8y. I was expecting some tweet on this being a record but haven't seen anything.

I didn't read whole thread since I thought this was scifi - was it already explained how this would work from dead cap perspective? I am still lazy to try to understand details but I've alwyas thought players with contract like Watson's are literally untradable. That is what they say about Wentz. So ho it is even possible to think about trading Watson? Wouldn't it leave like 100M dead cap to Texans?

Jets draft pick just got a little bit better. Good thing that we have other things to care about

The designed QB runs need to stop!

I think we had this same exact thread after first game of the season against Jets. It stopped against Miami. I guess it is just Daboll trolling everybody and we get back to normal next week. -
This seems like a good place to ask... what was the plan when Turay jumped? Was it really FG try or where we snapping that anyway? Because ball was snapped no more than half a second after he jumped, so it seems that we were actually snapping it anyway. EDIT: Plus it looked like there was no time left to take TO anyway, and we were not taking delay of game penalty to make it harder for Bass.

The colts fumble that was not called
No_Matter_What replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I find interesting that up to that point refs seemed great to me. No unnecessary flags, and all 3 reviews were decided correctly (and in Bills favor). But this was clear fumble. -
There is no reason to presume we will not play better. Also people underestimate how good Colts were today. We may lose next week but we will be favourites against anybody and rightfully so.

I just read similar article on NFL.com and came here to say almost exact same thing. Isn't it weird that player is unhappy that he wasn't part of the process of selecting GM? I get that Watson is an important player but why on earth should he have any word in GM hiring? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Possible Bills off season moves.

Didn't see this posted and this might be a good thread to do so: Random PFF prediction, but I find it interesting due to combination of reasonable guesses and total nonsense. As far as Bills are concerned, they have 5 players predicted to us: LB Matt Milano - 45/4 RT Daryl Williams - 31,5/3 CB Richard Sherman - 28/2 RB Chris Carson - 27/3 EDGE Trey Hendrickson 45/4 As for our guys, I think resigning Williams for 10,5 AAV would be great. Milano's numbers would be fine if he was healthy, and since often he is not, I hope they resign him for 32/4 or so. Sherman and Carson are as bad predictions as they come. I see zero chance that we sign any RB for 9M AAV, and I'd be shocked if we signed Sherman, let alone for 14M a year. As far as I understand we also don't have a cap space to do so unless we start cutting guys like Brown. Hendrickson I have no idea about but I doubt we will have cap space to sign another DE for 11M a year, even if we cut all Dlinemen we can. -
Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson

Thanks. I haven't seen Panthers once this year but a friend of mine is a Saints fan and he raves about Chinn all the time. Overall I agree with what you are saying. We probably didn't have many opportunities to shoot higher last year but it doesn't mean there will not be one or two this year - esp. in round 1. -

Can you name some examples of possible shots in 2020 draft? I mean guys who were actually available at the time we took AJ, Zach and Gabe and you'd consider them good but risky picks with lower floors higher ceilings? I understand your sentiment but am just curios how it translates to 2020 draft in your opinion. -

I wouldn't say people are scared. They just prefer Colts.
