  1. Now this is amazing. I love Brandon Beane.
  2. I saw this guy mocked to us couple of times.
  3. Well but the difference is that I am asking a question about our actual options, and (unlike you) I am not saying that Milano signing is bad since we cannot aford DE now.
  4. I am just curious if we have any chance at all to sign any bigger DE name now. If I understand it correctly we have something like 13-15mill. cap space after Milano, we can cut Lee Smith for maybe two more, but we still need to sign/replace Williams, Feliciano, McKenzie, Roberts, Wallace, Barkley, Boetger and BoJo right? I mean even if we do not sign Williams (or any more expensive RT for that matter), these guys or their replacements take all the money right? And even if we somehow restructure somebody it still shouldn't be enough... So, is there any chance for bigger FA signing now?
  5. I am shocked. I thought he is as good as gone, and it seems too much money to me. Anyway he makes us better. Is there any chance we land a passrusher now?
  6. Huh? He is a free agent.
  7. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/dak-prescott-19089/ Do I understand it correctly that signing bonus is split over 5 years, even though contract itself is only for 4 years? I never knew that was possible.
  8. You really think that Saints can make it work cap wise? Bears are also -3M right now. I guess it is possible somehow but Saints? The others have more cap space than I thought.
  9. Ok so that looks like a bad sign towards Mongo and Williams, doesn't it? If we want to sign them it makes sense to do it before FA. Maybe they are waiting for the cap to be set, but if we don't sign them until FA the likelihood they will stay will drop significantly, no?
  10. Sry for stupid question, but can teams sign their own free agents now? Or they have to wait until March 17?
  11. I asked in another thread but didn't get response. Afaik he is 3-4 OLB, can we somehow fit him in our scheme? I find it crazy that guy like him couldn't play in different scheme, but I've people claiming that he has no place in 4-3.
  12. If I understand it correctly, he wants 38-40 per, no? If so, which team do you think gives him such money?
  13. @MAJBobby What happened to these? I loved reading them and it seems that you have done defense only. I hope you are ok.
  14. No sure where to ask but this looks like a good topic - I've heard somebody claim that Von Miller is not an option for 4-3 at all, since he is 3-4 OLB and has no position in 4-3 scheme wise. I appreciate some insight on this. Is he out of question for us due to this? Or is it possible to use him? @GunnerBill?
  15. How the hell have Dolphins cap problems already? I guess I need to check who are they paying. I thought they had a young team.
  16. So, what are we going to talk about next two weeks?
  17. My thoughts exactly. I think what he does now is little bit diva-ish (though nothing too bothering), but above all, I am pretty sure he will not be a diva on football field. So I'd like him to come on reasonable terms. I think he goes to GB though.
  18. I always wanted to ask - why 20/20? I mean I get the meaning of the phrase (i.e. that with later knowledge you know what you should've done in the past), but I don't understand that 20/20 part. Should it mean that you have like 20 pieces of info out of 20 possible later? Not a native speaker ofc. And I googled and didn't find explanation.
  19. I thought you don't care anymore. Or did you give Beane some extra hours?
  20. How the hell are we not on this list at all? I mean he is more likely to go to Patriots than us? Or Titans who were in his division?
  21. Well then go and watch again. He was throwing some freaking lasers and then he was also throwing some innacurate balls. He also had pretty bad pocket movement quite often. I blame this mostly on his injury, but still. And he while he was chased at times, it wasn't purely on OLine and it wasn't that bad. There were some busted screen plays for example.
  22. I fully agree with this. The Chiefs are still great, but the difference between them and Bills (or anybody else, for that matter), is not as big as it seemed from AFCCG. We were good matchup for them and we had bad gameplan. It is not like that they were playing close games during season since they were bored, and suddenly turned on playoff mode vs us. We just were not ready. There are still many people I know talking about how good Mahomes is and how he can win 5 rings or more (I already have a bet about this lol). I don't see it. I think they don't win next year and then suddenly people will need to realize that after 5 years in the league he has exactly one ring, no matter how good he is. Oh and I rewatched SB. Yes Oline sucked, but Mahomes didn't play well too. He had worst pocket movement I've ever seen from him. He stepped into pressure couple of times, he failed to take checkdowns when they were clearly best options (or took them late), he turned into wrong direction against pressure couple of times (2-3 times he just turned directly into the rusher). He had also couple of overthrows and got finally caught with his INT-worthy throws. He was incredible sometimes, and still very good overall, but definitely not great. I am pretty sure that his injury is partly to blame though.
  23. I am confused tbh. Why would we take CB in round 1? I mean everything is possible, but besides QB and S I can hardly find a position which I find less problematic right now. We need to upgade OL, we need solid TE, speedy RB, we could use some speed at WR, we need 1 tech DT, edge, we might need to solve LB if Milano walks... Could we upgrade CB2? Sure. Could we use some depth? Sure. But is it bigger need than those other positions? I don't think so. I'd be shocked if we took CB round 1, but not from reasons you mention. Looking at mocks there seem to be value on most positions where we really need some upgrade.
