Eagles officially choose Wentz over Foles
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dudes been around for how many years? It’s not like he is some rookie qb. -
Bills hire Heath Farwell as ST coordinator

You really do just have no idea what you are talking about. -

Lots of guys come into the league with all the talent in the world. The difference is what happens between the ears. Foles has proven he can do it. I'm not sure Wentz has. I think this is a way bigger risk than people are acknowledging. Plus, what are you really looking for when searching for a QB? You are looking for a guy that can you to and win a SB. Nick Foles has done that. -
Startling Star statistic
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That percentage looks much worse in the context of our salary cap space. What is the number as a percentage of the total salary cap? -

Yessss. I knew this dumb take was coming. And its better that it came from one of the "usual suspects" -

Wild, do you know the complete list of interviewees? Do you know what offers we made? Do you know the internal decisions that were made? Because if you don't, there is no plausible way you can infer that they were just "waiting" around. -
GB Packers hire Nate Hackett as OC
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wait, wait, wait. Nextmanup, notorious message board hero, is "satisfied" that Hacket can't coach? Whoa, someone needs to get on the phone with Green Bay immediately. They need this information. -
People love cutting players just to cut players. If they save a significant amount of money, fine, but here, we don't save THAT much, especially when you consider how much cap space we have. There isn't much of a tangible benefit in cutting them. Now, if we have some young players that need time on the field, then I am also OK cutting the player. However, this team, before FA and the draft, has neither. Its not like there are some young guys that are loosing snaps. I really see no benefit of cutting these guys.

Tremaine Edmunds - Season Highlights
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Top ten in yards per carry, though, and that is the stat that matters. -
The pick is worth what you can get. Some years its worth more, some years its worth less. The draft chart is a guide. The first overall pick this year is worth farrrr less than, for example, the year Andrew Luck was available. At the end of the day, they got would they could get to move back. Its only a bad trade if they could have gotten more. Do you have any reason to believe they could have gotten more from KC? If they would have walked away from the deal if we demanded more, would it still look like a bad trade.

I'm all in on this. I do not believe in the "#1WR stuff." How many Superbowl winners in the last two years had a WR drafted in the first round that also served as the classic "#1WR." Not many. Its all about the offensive line. If you have a good OL, average WRs will get open. Besides, WRs getting open has as much to do with skill as it does talent.

So you acknoweldge you are cherry picking to criticize what you perceived (ironically incorectally) as my cherry picking? moulds had a great career. His first two years were not great. Also, don’t say “learn football.” Makes you look silly. Not a good look. -
Kingsbury finalizing AZ HC deal

And none of that is responsive to what I just said. I am saying 1 + 1 = 2, and you are out here like “No! Apppppples!!!” -
Kingsbury finalizing AZ HC deal
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, did he play his first year in the NFL? Did draft analysts, for the most part, consider him not NFL ready? Are those not facts? -

Also, how about the fact that Mahomes was considered a poor, underdeveloped project QB coming out of College? If Kliff is so good at developing QBs, why was Mahomes considered not NFL ready? Why did he need a year on the bench to develop? -

Your'e right, head coaches are not in charge of the side of the ball they didn't formally coordinate. You have won this argument. -

Guess what, he was the HC, meaning he was also in charge of the defense. -
Hire Kliff Kingsbury
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, because Dabol hasn't made any progress developing Allen. Kliff is a massive boom or bust prospect. Everyone is looking for the next Sean McVay, so teams will take a chance on a guy that looks the part. Kliff may look the part, but he is a long shot. He is more likely to be Lane Kiffin than Sean McVay. -
Packers to hire Titans OC Matt LeFleur

Because being a good head coach is so much more than just your "scheme." The league figures out schemes. But head coaches who last organize and lead. No body understood why Anthony Lynn was getting so many looks as a head coach. Now we know.
