Zay Jones’ Dad - an “Interesting” follow
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wait. What? Why? The family didn’t sign a contract. Zay did. It’s crazy they should be considered to have any obligation. This is identical to colts fans thinking luck owed them something. Would it be better? Probably, but that isn’t our prerogative. -
Zay Jones’ Dad - an “Interesting” follow
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. But guys like that, who make mental mistakes, usually also have all the pieces to put it together. I think that if josh Allen starts throwing the ball around, zay can get to the 800/900 yard range. If he doesn’t, we won’t get his next contract. His Dads a nut, he should shut up, but that’s not zays fault. -

http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receivingTouchdowns this actually says 16. What am I reading wrong? He is doing really well for a second round pick. In the last three or so years, outside of JuJu and Thomas he is out performing all the other second round picks. Others have done better in their third year, but comparing second year stats, Zay is among the best. -

Man, I hope we find more “worthless” players that can place 17th in the nfl in touchdowns. -
Tremaine Edmunds' run stopping
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was a ton of chatter about him being out of position and how he should be moved outside. More so that he didn’t have the instincts to play LB at the NFL level. I had this asinine argument with people. It was insane. -
Ed Oliver doesn't look very good

I've been pounding the table about this phenomenon for days now. It is wild. -
The Bills need to keep Duke Williams

*hard eye roll* -
Since this morning, I have been looking for the rule book. I cannot find it. I am feeling less and less confident as the day goes. But I remain overwhelmingly sure this is the case.

Sorry, I should clarify, a player can be put on the IR, but he will count against the initial 53 cut down.
-
You have to be on the PUP list going into training camp. After camp starts, you can't be put on the PUP list.
-
Well, if he wants to return this season, he has to be put on the 53 roster. But, if he is on the IR before the 53 cut, he will be ineligible to play for the season.
-
Spain will not be able to return if you put him on the IR before he makes the 53.

Trent Murphy - What Am I Missing?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I know you don’t mean to. I’m saying you aren’t smart enough to know what you’re looking at. -
Trent Murphy - What Am I Missing?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Except it does. Assuming you watch it objectively. -
Trent Murphy - What Am I Missing?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of our DEs, he has created more pressure than any other player on the team. He is the fastest DE, and he has more moves than Shaq. Shaq can’t get to the QB unless the play breaks down. -

Wait. You watch games too? And you have a different opinion? I mean, why even explain or make an argument. You must be right. Solid contribution. -

There are some names there I hadn’t thought about, but you are absolutely right. I’ve thought this narrative bias for a while, but I’m just now starting to be able to articulate it. It’s gross and i just wish we as a fan base were better. -
Trent Murphy - What Am I Missing?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
By a lot. This fan base. Snap judgments are made and that’s just the end of it. Doesn’t matter that Trent is finally healthy and able to play to speed. Trent got his label and he is therefore terrible. -
Should we Trade Zay Jones?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To your first point, zay has more receptions from Allen than any other receiver. To your second, I just don’t find it that meaningful. If zay wasn’t the starting wr the entire year, I would read into it. But he has been, and remains, the first wr on the field at every turn. He also had like four more snaps than brown. It’s not a huge discrepancy. -
Should we Trade Zay Jones?

I think what is happening is they want to keep extra WRs, so they need zay and others to play gunner. I think they keep fewer dbs for that reason. Zay is better suited for it then brown, Beasley, mac, or duke. And since zay isn’t a number 1, he is a good choice. -

Good luck, man. Good thing for you drops don’t hurt your fantasy stock, otherwise you’d be lost. ...I couldn’t help myself. -

What do you think, wanna post the link. We can time each of the drops, look at it more closely? -
Should we Trade Zay Jones?
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean, you showing a handful of uncatchable balls does not make them drops. This is why narratives are so problematic. Sure, he sucked his rookie year. But, the stigma attached, so now when you see a ball go his way you have a mind association that you automatically think drop. It’s sort of like how dogs or small children are taught. It’s common in less advanced thought processes. You’re not able to disconnect and look at the play objectively. You just go for your gut reaction.
