  1. Ohhhh that's right.
  2. Daboll sucks for *checks notes* not telling Allen to not fumble the ball on a sack.
  3. They threw at him once. It fell incomplete.
  4. PMT put it best today. It was one of those games where if you look at the stat line, you think, "wow, they look pretty good." But, if you watched, you know they are a train wreck.
  5. The Zay takes are exhausting. It was dumb then, it is dumb now. 5 "targets" does not mean 5 catch-able balls were thrown at him. You are just reading a stat line. You know darn well he caught every catch-able ball sent his way.
  6. I'm trying to wean myself off PFF, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love hearing that.
  7. Isn't this really a fantasy football article? Wasn't Allen a top scoring FF QB towards the end of last year? This is a weird take.
  8. After this game, and Cover1 and Sal's explanations on twitter, I feel like there needs to be a big DiMarco mea culpa
  9. To be fair, he may just be covering for Ford. But going into the week, they hinted at a rotation. It sort of fits.
  10. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-today-john-brown-puts-on-a-record-setting-performance-in-his-bills-debut “That was planned,” McDermott said. “We had planned, like I said during the week. I wanted to be able to give Cody (Ford) a little bit of a break in there just to take a look at things, talk to him on the sideline, give him a chance to watch. So that was scripted out. Wasn’t what Cody did or didn’t do. I thought, in fact, he played well at times in there. Good to have guys that can step in and play, and guys that maybe weren’t the starters that were prepared to play. And I think that goes a long way in terms of winning games as well.”
  11. McDermott said it in his post-game press conference. It was on twitter too, but it would be kind of pain to scroll through for it...
  12. The RT rotation was predetermined.
  13. The only difference from first half to second half is Allen didn't turn the ball over. The "team" didn't clean a bunch of stuff up. Allen just stopped bouncing balls off of people.
  14. Allen ran the offense. This is the NFL. They are given multiple plays in the huddle, and then Allen makes the decisions. Those passes were the decisions Allen made. They were smart too. First, Allen moved the ball at will. Second, the Jets were daring him to pass, giving him those pass-friendly looks.
  15. Totally fair. I doubt they keep it up, and its easier for rookie lineman to do so week in and week out, but wow, what an opening week.
  16. Oliver was nice, but TJ and Brown were absurd yesterday....
  17. Sorry man, you are gonna need more than 100 posts before I start engaging in this type of troll analysis (sorry, the analysis isn't smart, so I am assuming this is a troll job)
  18. It is almost like you didn't read a word of what I wrote.
  19. I understand your point, but they drove the field on every possession but two (the three and out and the safety). If not for the turnovers (flukie turnovers), the Jets could not stop them. I understand that an offense doesn't get the "great" tag when there are that many turnovers. However, they moved the ball at will. In the end, that is what "great" offenses do.
  20. Right. I highly doubt that every tipped pass will again result in an int, and that we will lose every fumble.
  21. I think all but one of the turnovers was in field goal range.
  22. THIS is why you shouldn't come here on game day. Its a mess of people that don't spend much time on the message board, don't pay a ton of attention outside of game day, and have no idea what they are talking about.
  23. I have been shouting this on twitter. It is crazy how people can become so emotionally invested in a game that they lose all sense of what is really happening. The turnovers, in some peoples minds, completely erased how well we were moving the ball. The offense was great all game.
  24. We don’t have to lie to ourselves and say he was awesome today. But, he had awesome moments. What I definitively saw, though, was progress. The type of progress we wanted. We got what we wanted to see. Progress.
  25. This was a really good write up. I 100% expect to see this now.
