  1. @BADOLBILZ At some point, with everyone just piling on this point, you have to start to see how wrong you are.
  2. It is ridiculous to think we would pass on a guy because his first four games of his NFL career started slow.
  3. Ford is also a better run blocker than Nsehke. It would make sense he gets so many more snaps if we ran more, but we don't soooo
  4. One bad game and he is "regressing" This board is the best.
  5. Yes, because that really matters when you have the #2 defense in the league. Edmunds is fulfilling his assignments, forcing runners into other tacklers. That is how this defense works. Sometimes its just best to walk away from a bad argument.
  6. That will happen when you are rushed and confused. BB does this to young quarterbacks. That is all it is.
  7. I can't read the article because of the pay wall. What I can say is I am aware of BB's amoeba front, which is especially difficult. But it is sort of like lining up the LBs in the a-gap and simulating pressure. We have been blitzed a ton this year, but Allen has been able to find open guys/escape pressure. The Pats just happen to have Jamie Collins, one of the most athletic LBs in the league, who can chase JA down in a way no one else can.
  8. BB blitzed more than prior teams, but he wasn't doing that much differently. Its just the Pats have the #1 defense, and the secondary to pull off a cover-0 defense. It is not as simple as the "book is out"
  9. No. Like objectively. Based on the statistics. We are better. This isn’t an opinion thing. Our DVOA is ranked 26th this year. Last year it was 32nd. Its not great, but it is still much better than last year.
  10. Your original claim is we are as bad this year as last year. Not that we aren’t just “special.” That is so over dramatic, and thus hyperbole
  11. Through four games, Bojo has had one true shank and one blocked punt. Haushka missed one 60+ yarders, and yesterdays 49er (but only when Jamie Collins was allowed to illegally jump over the line, affecting the kick). Returns have been substannntially better. Especially now that we finally have Roberts back there. We have had fewer return penalties than last year. Stop with the hyperbole. It sounds foolish. We are much better this year.
  12. Your'e right. Those footwork problems to start the game are no good.
  13. BB didn't really do anything different than the Bengals or even the Giants to a certain degree. He just has the horses to pull off a cover-0 blitz.
  14. You want to know what a knee-jerk reaction looks like? Its thinking Mills is better than Ford.
  15. Not really. 1. JA didn't make nearly the number of mistakes (BB was able to force more mistakes than the others), and 2. JA made big plays in each of those games to offset his bad plays (BB stopped JA from doing that this game.
  16. Typical overreaction Monday stuff. The Bills just went toe to toe with the best team in the NFL. They are definitely better than the Titans.
  17. Getting thrown into a game is really, really tough. However, he made some good throws. He got hit during his throw on the interception, so I'm not as worried about turnovers. But I think he will be really good about getting every one in position making the right throws. That is what he did last year at least.
  18. *whispers* I'm actually more confident in Barkley than I am in Allen.* *Allen needs to be the starter to continue his development, but right now, Barkley might be better to run the offense.
  19. Granted, he came out hyped up. He did that against the Jets too, and he missed open deep throws. He definitely lost his mechanics there. He was also rattled within minutes of the game beginning. Again, the Pats have done that to every QB they have faced. Heck, they did it in the superbowl too. Against us, they crashed the line so quickly JA couldn't get the ball out quick enough. I don't know if they had the check down covered or if JA just didn't make the right call, but that is what BB does to rookies. He makes them do things wrong. Things that it looks like they have figured out. Scheme and talent matters, and their D has a ton. This is not the end all, be all. If you really dived in to what the Pats do, this was the expected result.
  20. Fans are so stupid. The Pats defense has done this to every QB they have played in the last 10 games, and BB's specialty is doing exactly this against young QBs. If it were the Jets or the Giants that did this to JA, I would be worried. This is a giant nothingburger. Josh has shown progression. Unfortunately, everyone takes steps back. That doesn't change the career arc.
  21. This is the correct answer. BB's MO is doing to rookie QBs what he did to Josh Allen. Josh will continue to grow and continue to get better. He has shown that he can learn the game, there is no reason to believe that will stop.
  22. @Alphadawg7 You were right. I was wrong. I am sorry. That is all.
  23. Lol. I can't believe you exist in real life.
