  1. Like I said, you are trolling. Your negativity is an absolute joke.
  2. Ding. Ding. Ding. The fact that we move the ball so well is telling. Just imagine if Allen hit a couple of those deep balls, or if we had even an average number of penalties, or if we didn't have so many drops (Knox). This would be an entirely different conversation. Daboll has already taken Allen to a place very few thought he could go. He is doing a superb job.
  3. This is the exact hyperbole I am talking about when I say that "fans attach to [it]" because they can see and describe it. Coaches make thousands of decisions before the moment of whether to go for it even arrives. Those decisions dictate whether you are ever even confronted with a "go for it" situation that could dictate a win or less. But setting that aside, how often does that even arise? How many games in a given season are decided by quite literally that one decision? Where setting all that other stuff aside, that "go for it" decision could even HAVE an impact on the outcome of the game. I would literally put the over/under at .5. They may affect the flow of the game, or dictate what has to be accomplished later on, but they RARELY, if ever, decide the outcome of the game. Fans just feel that way because they have such an emotional attachment to that issue--it being the only head-coaching decision they can materially and tangibly understand.
  4. You would be surprised. To the outside world, it looks great that we have such a fun, passionate fan base. Boo'ing a 4-1 (on the way to being 5-1) team makes us look ungrateful and stupid.
  5. Maybe, but I do know Billsmafia looks like a joke to the outside world. That may not matter to you, and that would be fair, but I find it super embarrassing.
  6. You know what, man. You have been wrong on this take all year, and it isn't a great look that you chime in on a slow week to try to regurgitate this nonsense.
  7. The only game I picked wrong this year was the Pats' game, and that was because the Pats did not cover the spread. This is the game I don't bet at all (in addition to Pats). My brain tells me this is the games the Bills' drop (and I refuse to bet against the Bills). I'm not convinced we are as good as our record indicates, and Philly is a team with a ton of talent that, if they do not win this week, will be out of the playoff race. I think they come out all engines firing.
  8. You have literally no idea what McD's defense is meant to do. Especially considering it was McD that built this defense, and he who moved up to get the Edmunds to play exactly how he is playing now. McD was smart about MLB, he knew what direction the league was going in. And so he drafted Edmunds to evolve with the league. They are not the NFL's top run stuffer (they are top ten, however), but that is because McD knows it is more important to stop the pass.
  9. You are saying he does not have enough solo tackles. But, that would require he be on an island to make the tackle. The reality is that he is splitting tackles because our defense rallies to the ball. That is a good thing.
  10. So should other members of the defense not rally to the ball so Edmunds can rack up solo tackles?
  11. He is 13th in the NFL in tackle, even with a bye, on a top 5 defense!!!! This is wild. My jaw is on the floor with this guy.
  12. Wait, what?????? I didn't know this, I just assumed Edmunds must be way down on the list, or this guy wouldn't be saying Edmunds should be outside. He's 13th? Even with a bye? Wowwwww
  13. We were both making fun of you. Look, you got me. Edmunds is not going to be a pro-bowl MLB in the 1970s. But in the same way you don't want a pro-bowl QB from the 70s in todays NFL, you do not want a pro-bowl MLB from the 70s. Its a new NFL. Edmunds is elite at what MLBs need to do in todays NFL to be successful. Plus, Edmunds best plays are him flying through the hole to make the stop or him going sideline to sideline to stop the guy from getting to the outside. Prototypical MLB stuff. This is some selective memory on your part.
  14. Lol. No "regrats?" Not a single one? Not even one letter?
  15. Really. Nothing about the last three weeks makes you think he can be great MLB. Not a thing.
  16. I think you are getting a little too deep into the minuta here. The head coach's primary job is to get the right people, organize those people, and institute culture and philosophy. Game day decisions like challenges, whether to go for it on fourth down, are wayyyyyyy down the list. The former is just miles more important than the latter. Fans attach to the latter, however, because it is the most accessible to them. They can see it, opine on it, etc. They just can't do that as well with the remainder. In my opinion Reich and McDermott are miles ahead of the other two in that regard, with Shannahan a close third. Peyton is good too, but his team is the product of something he has been continuously building for much longer than the rest of the list.
  17. I think Foster is hampered by injuries. Turf toe and a hamstring (right?) can really linger, even if you aren't on the injury card. 1. Shame on anyone who boo'd the team at halftime. So embarrassing. I know on the national radio show I listen to, it was very poorly received. 2. I bet on Miami with the points. I knew we would win, but anyone that thought it would be by 17 points was fooling themselves. This is not a year to year process. We are on a steady incline, and its great, but if you get greedy and expect too much, you are going to walk away disappointed.
  18. I’m not convinced anyone on this board knows what a “read” is.
  19. ScottLaw, you aren't a special poster because you think Allen has a long way to go. No. What makes you standout is your corresponding opinion that Darnold is already there. If that isn't next level trolling, I don't know what is. Props for being great at what you do.
  20. A fourth rounder for a middle of the road wr with a year and a half left on his contract is not peanuts.
  21. Lol. ScottLaw ladies and gentleman.
  22. The only piece of this I want to comment on is the point spread. I am taking the Dolphins with the points this weekend, and I am doing it for the very reason you mentioned. I suspect we get an early lead, and the offense just never really does anything to blow it open. I think they do that for the simple reason they just don't need to.
  23. It is hard to get excited about in-season trades. It usually takes guys a full off season to make a contribution in the new system. For example, look at our defense. They are where they are because they have been together for multiple years. Bringing in a new guy just isn't going to change the trajectory of the offense.
