The End of the Lamar Jackson Era
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eh. I would be pissed if JA had a clunker and the rest of the league said, see! I told you he wasn't any good! I don't think we should do the same to LJ. Tonight seemed as much about LJ having an off night as anything. -
Gap Integrity & Tackling
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You could see Edmunds bracing for contact when he hit the line during the game. He was clearly playing soft because of his shoulder. That said, his gap integrity issues were visible his rookie year. Last year, he was actually pretty good. However, by that time, the narrative had begun, so no matter how much evidence to the contrary, fans had made their decision. A good example is the Eagles games. Fans were up in arms about Edmunds, completely missing that it was Milano that was the guy out of position giving up those big runs. This year seems to be about the shoulder. -
Week 4: Bills at Raiders

Hard not to appreciate that Diggs and Allen seem to be becoming genuinely good friends. Allen is constantly the subject of Diggs' Instagram stories. -
ESPN's Dan Orlovsky Making Case for Allen MVP
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His MVP consideration will be hurt by the defense's reputation. People associate the Bills with having a top-5 defense, even though, thus far, they have been far from it. -
My hope for Brian Daboll
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saying that Daboll will have a head coaching spot next year, especially because of what he accomplished with Josh Allen is super high on my list of things I thought were so obvious they wouldnt receive any push back. -
My hope for Brian Daboll

Sure, but the term "agenda," when used outside of a professional/planning context, includes with it a connotation of sinister motive. -
My hope for Brian Daboll

Wow. I have an agenda? Is this a covert agenda? Do you think its also...a conspiracy? Do you think this will eventually become a novel as well? This is so cool. Tell me more. -
My hope for Brian Daboll

Who do you think is getting more credit for Mahomes? Reid or Bienemy? I don't think anyone believes that Mahomes development is a product of Bienemy. Greg Roman, on the other hand, is a little closer. However, I dont' think the league respects LJ as a passer--teams are looking for guys that turn QBs into passers. These aren't applicable comparisons. -
My hope for Brian Daboll
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not. You know who everyone's first pick for their new head coach is? The guy who taught the young QB how to be a franchise guy. If Allen didn't get any better, Daboll would already be a lock for a head coaching spot next year. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, but your point was that, because the "stars" were making plays, it falls on the coaches. Tell me, then, what star player on that defense made plays, warranting blame being put on the coaches? -
McDermott's coaching

What star on that defense managed to right the ship? Well, at least you've backed off the comment that the Bills' coaches aren't at all making adjustments. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, guy that can barely string coherent sentences together. Oh, they are definitely not elite. All I'm saying is that they idea that the Bills' coaches aren't making "adjustments," is an all-time moronic statement. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. They made great adjustments. The offense that was historically good two years ago managed to score some points. Consider my mind blown. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You mean are we making good adjustments in three games that weve won? Is that serious questions? The other team has coaches too. They make adjustments-they worked. Then, we made ours. Guess what, they worked. Thanks for playing. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are confusing "successful" adjustments with "any" adjustments. Every coach makes adjustments. Some times they just don't work as well as the other team's. -
McDermott's coaching
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saying there werent adjustments is obviously a stupid comment. That said, the defense really needs to get this figured out. Its ok to play the run that poorly, but you cant give up 300 yards in the air on the other side. -
Josh Allen - week THREE report card
JoshAllenHasBigHands replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Suppppper shaky, but the way he was able to move past it to regain his composure was breathtaking.
