Ford is a RT. He is just a rookie RT. Believe it or not, Rookies often take time to adjust and learn.

I guess pre-injury you are right. Cam is similar to where JA is now. However, JA's completion percentage and yards/attempt are on an upward trajectory. Cam never really improved (excluding single year bumps). By rule, QBs completion percentage shouldn't increase. But JA has already broke that rule. If he continues to improve his completion percentage, he will surpass Cam.

His ability to hit these throws are why I think he is a starting QB, if not more. We can flash stats until we are blue in the face, but Allen consistently hits throws EJ and TT could never make. TT was able to hit alot of deep balls, and so I think that made him look better than he was. As nice as those throws are, its the 10-20 yard throws that keeps the chains moving, converts third downs, and is generally key to offensive viability.

I don't think people appreciate how hard it is to find serviceable OTs. If they don't like Ford, they are gonna HATE whats out there to replace him.

I cannot for the life of me understand why they aren't out there on 3rd and long. Outside of that, they shouldn't be on the field at the same time. They are great pass rushers, but not very good run defenders. Plus, they play the same position, so it wouldn't work on an every down basis.

Run defense is a team effort, but yes, I thought his play was the most egregious during that span.

I actually think Milano is the big reason our run defense fell apart.

He is a better pash rusher. He is just bad defending the run. Yup. He should go get his money. But I don't want to be a fan of the team that pays him that money.

If you guys think Ford was bad, wait until we put Bates or some off-the-street guy in there. Ford is a talented rookie; he will continue to grow. Lumps are part of the process. We should not be talking about moving him to guard, or some emergency scenario where we move guys outside or bring in some street FA.

Id love to know how often 10-6 teams make it to the playoffs. I feel like every year we are told 9 wins won’t do it, and every year a 9 win team gets in the playoffs.

Now our coaches have "agendas," like they are some covert agents, here to infiltrate the organization. Reasonable minds can disagree on the best way to develop Allen - protect him or trial by fire. In any event, having a philosophy that doesn't comport with your belief does not mean he has an "agenda."

They are going to be a problem in a couple years.
