  1. Are we poor? Or do we just seem to play the Patriots in prime time games?
  2. He is not a medical doctor, but he is a doctor of physical therapy. He doesn't say definitively what happened, nor is presuming to make diagnoses. He makes predictions based on context clues, using his expertise, to provide insights on the possible outcomes of an injury, as well as what each injury will require for recovery time.
  3. I mean, if we aren't picking apart words and phrases, what the hell are we even doing here?
  4. I understand the differing opinions. But someone over there is suggesting that Lock's floor is what Allen is playing at now, and that Locke is likely to be much better than Allen. I don't even know what to do with that comment.
  5. I mean, I agree, I want him to do well against a good defense. Here is the thing, good defenses make QBs play bad. That is why they are good. What I look for is objectively good performances against defenses not in the top 5. Against the top 5, I am looking for enough good plays to get the win. Meaning, a performance I would think is "not good" against other defenses, is more than acceptable against a top 5 defense.
  6. Dude, you responded to my snarky posts on this very thread. I'm shooting for ironic takes on things the Allen haters have said. But, if you didn't get that, I didn't do a very good job of writing it, so thats on me.
  7. Anyone on the Bills' staff who didn't start looking for a new QB the day after Allen was drafted should be fired.
  8. Yes, I’m glad he is scoring touchdowns. But, more importantly, he is only averaging 8.7639 adjusted net air yards on the ground from the left hash while he has a dump in his pants. That’s the only stat that matters to me.
  9. Growth isn't linear. There are ups and downs. The overall trajectory has been up this season.
  10. Can we stop with the accolades? He did not get 300 yards, and thus he did not have a good game. Now, Phillip Rivers throwing for 350 yards? That man had him a good game this week.
  11. Everybody has to plan their flag, man, just so they can later prove that THEY were ones that were right.
  12. The penalties are inexcusable, especially the off sides. The holds have been tricky tacky, and on at least two occasions I thought they were absolute garbage. That said, for almost every good Bills run this year, I can show you the ridiculously good block laid down by Smith. Lol. That podcast is definitely why I was aware of that stat. The problem with Dawson's rank among rookies is that it is like being the tallest midget. Sure, he is good among rookie TEs, but they have all been super underwhelming.
  13. Fun fact. Knox has 20 receptions this year. He also has 7 drops. So, do you want the best blocking TE in the league, or do you want a guy that has 1 drop for every 3 receptions? Probably doesn't change your answer, but it is something to consider.
  14. That was a pretty devastating take down. Thoughts and prayers to @Nextmanup on the tremendous L.
  15. And I wouldn't suggest that he does! But I think you can at least acknowledge he offers a good deal of insight and analysis that the average lay person, even with the internet, could offer.
  16. Yeah, that is fair. I practice law in the healthcare field; I am always fascinated by the non-MDs that have doctorates and insist on being called doctors. On the one hand, they deserve it. On the other hand, being a "doctor" in the medical filed has a certain connotation. That aside, I think you can agree that his experience is relevant (and helpful) to the topic area. Yes. You are entitled to that opinion. And, it is super disturbing that those are opinions that people hold.
  17. Still a doctor, and his expertise is super relevant to sports injuries. It is super disturbing how people in this country have become so willing to dismiss expert opinion as either having no basis or being not relevant.
  18. He is a doctor... He is sort of limited by the information at his disposal. He can't really predict what the injuries are. But he is great for understanding treatments and recovery timelines.
  19. Weird timing for this post. Without Ford we would be trotting out UDFA against Von Miller this week.
  20. He has gotten better as of late. I think people just assume Ty has completely taken over because Ford didn't play against Washington. That hasn't been the case. He played against Cleveland and Miaimi, and he did just fine. He is getting there. But you are right, he will struggle mightily and give up sacks to Miller. That, however, is not an indictment of his play.
  21. Ford has played more snaps than people appreciate, and he has done better as the season has progressed. Ford will struggle against Miller, every tackle in the league does, but he will hold his own.
