  1. Cool? I guess I don't really see your point. I haven't really been following the play-by-play here, nor did I read this article. It just seemed obvious the players didn't give a s*** about testing, but really wanted preseason cancelled. I guess my bad for making the statement before reviewing PFT to confirm they have not already made the same point?
  2. My point was a little more nuanced - It was that most of this posturing about testing is about leveraging to get out of preseason games, not the need for testing.
  3. That is wild that this forum has a "politics, polls, and pundits" section. That said, separating subjects into different sections is wildly unnecessary.
  4. I have no idea what PPP means. I am blown away that any one would consider my statement at all debatable. I've literally never seen anyone suggest it was anything but a given.
  5. I disagree. Calling the Republicans Nazis = calling the Democrats Communists. That is not what I am saying. I am saying that the Democrat Party is farther left than it has been in its history. There is not a credible argument that this is not true. Heck, ten years ago the Democratic Party didn't support gay marriage and, before that, they helped pass criminal justice reform.
  6. If that were true, Saunders would not have come so close to winning the nomination... I think that when you command more than 25% of the Democratic vote, we are talking about more than just a "side." Don't get me a wrong, there is a deep and nuanced discussion to be had about the topic, and this is not the place for it. That said, I don't think there is a serious argument to be made that today's Democrats are closer to the Eisenhower Republicans than the Democratic Party I describe as the farthest left it has ever been.
  7. Meh-it depends what you define "far left" as. This is, far and away, the farthest left the Democratic party has ever been. But they definitely aren't the Bolsheviks. That said, you are right, it won't happen overnight. But the Pegulas are making a longer term investment, in a political climate that does not look good for natural gas.
  8. It's a wise move but for the current political climate. Smart money is the government is going to push hard left next year. I would not want to be in the energy business when that happens.
  9. This seems right. I especially appreciate the averages. I expect the DBs to miss tackles. They are smaller. They are going to get dragged, and guys are going to break those tackles. I knew Phillips was bad, but Lawson and Hughes really surprised me. But, perception/reality. That whole thing. Most important, the focus by the coaching staff to bring in DL really illustrates that they are aware that our DL's tackling was well below average. Super good sign.
  10. Wow. Shaq had 7; Phillips had 8; Edmunds had 12; Milano had 16. Here is how I look at those numbers. Shaq and Phillips were a REAL problem. They saw the field far less than Edmunds and Milano, and when the did, had farrrrr fewer opportunities for tackles. 7 and 8 is a TON for their respective positions. Edmunds seems right. I don't know where 12 ranks; however, as the MLB, he is in the middle of so many plays. I expect him to be at about 12. Milano is also high. He made 15 fewer tackles on the year than Edmunds, but missed 4 more tackles. That seems like it is creeping too high. People love praising Milano, but I always thought that he, and to a lesser extent Phillips, were the primary culprits of our bad run defense. Milano was out of position far more than Edmunds. The missed tackles sort of adds to that point.
  11. Well, I mean, I guess if stats and facts are important to you then... That is interesting, for real. Do you have the breakdown for our D?
  12. Yeah - I never perceived Milano and Edmunds as being the culprits of our missed tackles woes. I always thought the interior DL was the real problem, but that includes Star.
  13. The best part about this is that we can finally put to bed the debate about whether, and to what extent, preseason matters.
  14. For $5M I would do it without hesitation. Heck, my wife would kick me out of the house if that option was on the table.
  15. I feel like I called this one.
  16. Pssstttt....with some modest adjustments, they are just DiBella's subs.
  17. My hot take: Wegmans is only "awesome" because it has great lighting and awesome packaging.
  18. I wonder if ESPN tells its writers to lean heavily on the total QBR metric.
  19. I don't think there is any scenario this season happens without a bubble, and that ship has sailed.
  20. If the players were serious about their safety they would push for the bubble option. There is no way, outside of the bubble option, that the season can happen without significant COVID risk.
  21. Diggs? Covid was spiking in Florida while he was practicing with the other Bills there.
  22. Yes, I definitely take seriously the comments of players who for the last several months have practiced in small groups amongst themselves in Florida and California. This is all posturing. They just dont want to play preseason.
  23. People have a weird obsession with coach press conferences. Its like they think they impact the product on the field. Takes a breathtaking amount of narcissism to think that the words “I messed up” need to be said directly to the fan base.
  24. This is all such a joke. 50% capacity on busses/planes? Empty seats between players? Give me a break. These precautions are all for show, do not make a bit of difference, and will not prevent the spread of the disease. The only shot the NFL has is if they sequester the players for the season--which we know will not happen. There is no chance this season happens.
  25. When in the video, its like two hours.
