  1. So your point is that he simultaneously was not in fact the #1 receiver, but also got more than enough targets. What a stretch. Dude, you’re so contrarian. Do you even know why you do it?
  2. I see your point, I really do. But that 1.5 targets adds up. However, if the offense as a whole is humming, I will also be happy as can be. That said, last year, Diggs got 94 targets in 15 games. Anyone that suggests that is enough is flat wrong.
  3. Diggs is billed as this top 5 to top 10 guy. How do you feel about him getting 7 targets a game? Maybe its not wayyyyy low. But if that's all he's getting, I will definitely feel like we are back in Sammy Watkins land, wondering why we aren't giving the ball more to our best player.
  4. Your #1 receiver should be getting 150 targets. In any event, 125 is wayyyyy too low for the #1 receiver.
  5. Yes. That is what that means. Are you guys serious with this? That is nothing for a #1 receiver. Over those same two years, Michael Thomas got 332, Julio Jones got 327, Deandre Hopkins got 313. Anything less than 150 targets/year for a #1 WR qualifies as not getting enough targets.
  6. But he didn't get any targets with Kirk Cousins. Come on. Be serious.
  7. Anything less than allowing the protestors to burn down Federal buildings is full blown fascism. Duh.
  8. You can tell because under fascist regimes people are often allowed to openly describe the government as fascist with literally no consequence. Either way, what really matters is the threat of delaying the election. Whereas most of the accusations of fascism are petulant or based on flat misrepresentations, the threat of moving the election date is truly problematic.
  9. Most of this garbage. That said, talk of delaying the election is indeed a bridge too far. Even the mention if it is totally unacceptable.
  10. Yeah - But do you remember the associated commentary? It was an insane how quick he returned. No one could believe it. As to the impact of the injury, this is serious. Half the reason the OL projected to be good was because of continuity. That just went up in smoke. As much as we like to pretend otherwise, these guys aren't just plug and play.
  11. If it was a torn pec, they would just say out for the season. Seems like the speculation is running a bit amuck here.
  12. Jeeze. Three negative tests since the 21st, and then a positive test? What a terrible sing.
  13. No, that's what this board is for. I got irritated and ruined it. I'll step away. Your conversation is more important than my insults. *I deleted my comments.
  14. No. This is not true at all. You should read some critical race theory. It seems like you would be shocked to learn what critical race theorists/BLM are really advocating. I guess part of this is I am more familiar with the literature that undergirds these movements than you are. In the deepest sense, you really don't know what you are talking about.
  15. When they talk about the nuclear family, they are talking about the idealized family model. So, rather than preferring a father, a mother, and then siblings, they advocate a community approach. That is what they mean when they say they want to do away with the nuclear family. Families that are missing a father, headed by a grandparent, etc., still fall within the framework of a nuclear family, because that is what is being mimicked. BLM is saying the family model should be one where all members of the community, e.g. neighbors, guide and are responsible for the children.
  16. This is all true.. We used to be much better. It's a shame.
  17. The whole thing is a lot like the Woman's Right's March. The basic premises of "women's rights" or "black lives matter" are awesome. For real, awesome. However, you start digging into the organizational structure/administration, and you realize they are just radicals preying on the unrest of the moment.
  18. This statement tells me you misunderstand what they are advocating. He is right; you are wrong here. I'm not even advocating one or the other. I'm just saying you don't understand what you are reading.
  19. I mean, I think you can agree that Hyde is not regarded as a "star."
  20. The NFL loves stars. Since neither of these guys is a true star, they don't get the appreciation as a duo that they deserve.
  21. Well, I envision each team having its own bubble. So a bubble in Buf, a bubble in NYC, a bubble in KC, etc. Then the leave the bubble to go to games. I think it would work well.
  22. A strike season is a more apt description. I wouldn't say preseason, though, since the coaching will still be top notch. That was an absolutely foolish deal for the NFL to sign. So much for "#wewanttoplay"
  23. That is the end of the season. There is just no way every guy on a second or third contract doesn't opt out. It would be crazy for them not to.
