Good God I love Boomer

The talking heads always get wood when someone trades back and ends up with the guy they wanted. he fits what they do well also go it probably will work out well and they'll be able to pay him less at 10 plus pick up an extra pick. Teams that move up always overpay, teams that move back are brilliant, people who go away from Kiper's board reach. These are all truths. IMO Kansas City had a way better day and even though the Eagle fans were pissed beyond belief I thought they did well by sliding back. -
Skins land Thomas AND Kelly

Yeah but if you're gonna pay what they paid you'd might as well go all in for a Long or Gholston. I'm pretty underwhelmed by Harvey and am skeptical of college guys that tend to feast on cupcakes. He played a great BCS game two years ago and carried it through to today. They guy they got in the 2nd was a better pick IMO. -

Exactly, he loses more journalistic credibility (and there ain't much to lose) every time he opens his mouth about Buffalo. It really has gotten quite ridiculous and it may be beyond Mike Lupica circa 1992. It's not because of the negative stuff in and of itself. It's that he earches so hard now to FIND a negative that it just sounds asinine when he says it. We could literally draft Jesus and he'd find a way to have a problem with it. "He's a small school kid outta Nazareth, not a lot of film so it's hard to substantiate his early achivements, tends to disappear at key moments, hangs out with a bad crowd and will probably run afoul of the law. plus I heard from a credible source that he hangs out with a prostitute and turned water into wine at a Vikings boat party on the River Jordan. Major reach pick here. Buffalo shoulda stuck with Judas who is simply money in the bank."" -
And yet we hate white DEs...go figure. I'm personally lookin for a coupla fast hard hittin brothas for our LB corps right now...

I second that. His wife, my wife, whatever...I'm flexible -
If we think that Connor or Poz can play Will maybe but I don't see enough speed there for that. As much as I'd like it this ain't the Big 10 and our OLB hafta run.

owen schmitt, bo ruud, gary guyton, rucker, kevin o'connell. not necessarily in that order. Godfrey if he's there. CB/S. Good speed good tackler. Works for me and we still need more DBs, especially versatile ones. -

I was thinking the exact same thing. The QB was getting flushed towards him by pursuit from #49 or up the middle. FWIW this is #49. he was a freshman last year, and apparently was rather beastly. -

Why? If Philly comes with an extra 2 and offers to swap you're unhappy? granted I'd prefer Shep, but still. If it's Philly's 2 it may end up as a 2 and a 4 to swap ones. -

WIP is usually reliable unless it's Eskin. He'd have been worth our two IMO. oh well. Maybe Philly deals us the extra two to move up with us. That'll work. -
Two days out, after all of my draft analysis,

I guess the point is that you'd expect a player drafted at #11 to own all WRs Middle Tennesee St plays against. If Deion Sanders played in his conference I don't know if he'd surrender a catch all year....hell, he might be able to do that now. The fact that he didn't dominate a lower level indicates that either, he's not that good, or was disinterested and has a crap work ethic. -

I wanna see him catch a pass against someone who doesn't play for Baylor or Texas A&I. Hard to assess his big game performance since he missed 2 straight BCS bowl games with injuries...and that we're also supposed to ignore the durability problem... Kelly scares me, in the bad way, and it's not because of the 40 time. I didn;t, and still don't like his reaction to the time. Running in a 3rd pro-day smacks of desperation and I'll be skeptical of any number he runs regardless. I didn't like the little tantrum he threw about the field. He says they had worked the whole field thing out. Who's to say the scouts didn't throw him a curveball on purpose to see hoe he'd handle it? He handled it badly. Kelly, to me, is a 3rd rounder at best right now. He's shown everyone the downside and he now has to re-sell the upside but he's out of time. He cost himslef a lot of money and we'll see how he handles THAT. it'll be interesting to see if it's motivation or if he sulks, or if he holds out demanding more money than he's slotted because he's 1st round talen" in his own mind. -

For the record Woolfolk is on the Jets roster. That isn't to say he's successful, but he IS in the league -
