Your QB and offense has a long drive down to the Red Zone mid way 2nd half. It was enough to put this team up by 4 against the Steelers subs. I agree this was the turning point in the game. At this point your QB did his job getting the team in the position to win. This was a team loss. Offense Desfense and Specail Teams all did thier part to ruin this game.

What ever Jim Kelly said to Drew after the NE game and WM being able to block as well as being a great runner.

I really don't care what this guy thinks. he can write whatever the hell he wants. My biggest problem with him is that he is termed an insider. What does that mean. he goes inside the Ralph to watch the games. I have a feeling that the 89 lady and or the guy who walks his dog in the parking lot are privy to more inside info than Mr Weiler. If there were any meat to his work, I doubt he'd need to constantly use the "Metaphor" Humpty to draw attention to himself. MW is that person at work who says something funny once and then keeps repeating it over and over and over again. I wish whoever distributes this stuff would do a better job of screening their "insiders".

Get Ready For It Boys and Girls ...

How's carson's knee? Could be a big factor next week. Then when we beat cincy folks can say-- ya but they had their back up QB in so it doesn't count. We are playing meaninful games in Dec. and getting better toward the end of the season rather than worse. When was the last time this happened? -
It's official. I don't care what anyone says!

Its not like he has been fighting for his football life for the last three weeks and come up huge. I doubt your going to find more pressure than what Drew has been under since NE. -
I'm OK with him thinking he's a super hero, I just don't want him thinking he's Julia Childs or Princess Dianna.
-
And don't forget that only passes from Drew that hit his recievers on the numbers are to be counted as catches. If a Bills reciever needs to streach or jump to catch a pass it should go in the record books as an incomplete or INT.

Sounds like Mularkey sees a change at QB

Here is the actaul quote but thanks for intepreting and ignoring the part about Moulds feeling Drew has played ALOT better this year. Receiver Eric Moulds maintains his faith in Bledsoe, while acknowledging the possibility of Losman playing this season. ''I think when J.P. gets healthy, I think it's going to be a situation where the coach has got to look at that and say, `Is this the direction you want to go?''' Moulds said. ''But I think if we get it turned around and get some wins, I think they'll continue to stick with Drew and say: `This is our best chance to win.''' Moulds noted that Bledsoe's status wouldn't be in question if the team was winning. ''If we were 5-1, that would be a different story. People would be feeling that Drew was doing a lot better than he did last year,'' Moulds said. ''But when you're not winning everything's magnified.'' -
I can't believe people are actually challenging this guys man hood. Fisrt off he has 4 kids under age 7. 2nd. He has been nothing but tough. he lost 60 % of his blood after the hit from Lewis. I don't know of any NFL player who has come back from an injury like that. Something like that bankrupts a body. According a boston globe reporter in 2002, most GMs and medical people around the league did not think that he could make it though a whole season. (Apparently TD was the only one who didn't get the memo.) His production might be down but he is still out there and scoring our only offensive tds. At least give the guy credit for having some guts.

So is this Drew's last year in the NFL?
c-biscut replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Drew stays here and backs up JP. Running QBs tend to get hurt. Maybe Drew doesn't have the power to make it a full year anymore, but he said he like buffalo and would retire here. -
I listened just now and I'm wonder what did he say that was not true. 6 games and no rushing TDs. Thats unimaginable. Thunder and lighting have turned to rain and drizzel. Plus, how many crucial plays have been blown up by blocking mistakes. Last week he seemed to get frustrated and tried to take matters into his own hands. It didn't work. Otherwise, he has been trying to play within the system. Hey everyone is calling for his head. He pointed out somethings to defend himself. he didn't sound distraught or like he was complaining, just explaining. Some people here think the honorable thing for him to do would be to retire. To me that would be quitting. Drew is not the player he once was but stop making him into the villian. he didn't trade for himself.

0 rushing TDs in 4 week? Who is the problem here? I don't think its our QB.

You are in luck rather than we are in luck?

"...we just have to execute better..."
c-biscut replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When you have a chance to run out the clock and your guard holds, thats bad execution. when you pro bowl reciever fumbles inside the 10 yrd line, thats bad execution. when your running back can't punch it in on the 1 yard line, thats bad execution. when your kicker misses and easy FG, thats bad execution. when a back blows a blocking assignment, thats bad execution. I'm sorry, what did DB say that was incorrect again? MAybe if he said we need toget our head out of our butts, it might sound better but means the same. -
I don't want a guy who is told he can't fight for his old job back and is happy about it. Thats when you know a guy is done. Three years after this all happened have yo ever heard any former current patriots complain about the way Drew handled himself. Was Drew perfect, probably not. When it came down to crunch time, did he do the right thing, probably.

I think Weiss is going to outsmart himself. He's going to get a little too cute. We need alot of noise at the Ralph to make things real hard for Tommy Boy.
-
I think it takes a litle time to get your head back on after some of those hits. I think he said as much. He seemed to straighten himself out.
-
Way better than Bledsoe... I wish the Bills had him. He's a winner

How long would take to get your wits about you again? I was on a first date when I walked into a cement over hang in a parking garage. I was sitting on the ground for a few minute trying to fiugre out what happened.

Some points that I just wanted to make

were there any post game press conferences? I haven't heard one quote about the FG attempt Drews play etc. -
So that was Bledsoe's fault too. I knew it!

I am not going to get into the Drew bashing....I
c-biscut replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he was a bit messed up after that hit. He did hang in there. We have a young o-line playing in a very strange place. Two giants of the game on defense. I think they'll get better soon. Unfortunately we have the pats next. Best D in the league. They'll eat these boys for lunch. This is what makes last weeks loss still so hard to take. -
I support Drew. I worry because he's taken a few too many cracks to his mellon. However he and Moulds have been the only ones offense or D, or special teams to put the ball in the end zone. How many goal line rushes does it take to get into the end zone? Hopefully we find out week after next.
-
If we didn't have Bledsoe we'd have 0 TD this season. How many times over the past two games did henry have to punch it in. This team's failure in the Red Zone has more to do with the O-line screwing up and the running game then anything else. But its obviously because Drew can't inspire them.

New jersey Giants was the other.
