Not sure I agree. He had a QB Rating of 81.7 Worst performance by a Bills QB this year. Pretty much what it was. A backup QB performance against the #24 defense in the league.

Neither Williams hasn't played with TT much either. Neither has Harwin. He's played hurt or been out all year. Easley the same. So actually EJ had more weapons than TT in most of his games. EJ did ok for a backup. Now he did his job and didn't completely sh*t the bed as the backup. Now he needs to go back there. Because if he is the starter fulltime because TT is hurt, we are picking top 10 in draft next year

The 81.7 puts it at about the #24 Qb for the league in 2015. That's not average. That's below average. Not horrible, but also not good enough to be even an average starter. EJ is where he belongs, on the bench. He didn't lose the game, but he did nothing to win it, even though he's had more weapons than the starter. On top of that he played one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

You're right. Those opponents were better. The Bengels have the #24 defense. Titans are #2 and Giants are #14. So Taylor had a tougher road.

Different teams. Different schemes. EJ had the #1 WR and RB yesterday. TT was without both in those two games. But otherwise exactly the same.

Yesterday was the best day the RB's have had all year.

And TT has played with same handicaps. Yet TT has looked lift years better.

A little bit of a goad, but really whether Whaley or anyone else. The best players have to play. Whether a 1st rounder or an UDFA, we as fans should ask the coach to ignore draft positions and win. Period.
