  1. Like last years QB battle. Everyone knew it was over when EJ threw into the tents the second day of practice. But Rex kept up appearances until the end.
  2. Since he's been Asst GM/GM they are .406. If you think that's actually good, then I am not sure what to say. But that is not the sign of a good GM. Even since he's been GM alone sub .500 isn't good. We continue to spin in the septic tank and now we have a GM opening his flap about why the players should even play. The legal crap has all been covered. But if he spent less time demoralizing the team, pissing off multiple coaches and trying to undermine them we might have been successful already. Instead, you seem to be happy with no playoffs, no light in sight and an idiot as a talking head of this team.
  3. Ok, so Whaley has been the GM for 3 years and the assistant GM for 2 more. So he's responsible for about 1/3 of our failure.
  4. The Bills have had how many GM's without making the playoffs in a thousand years?
  5. Because she purposely put hot coffee between her legs in a car. It's like the label on irons that say, don't iron while wearing clothes or don't use a hairdryer in bathtub. They're all frivolous. Stupidity should not be rewarded.
  6. The lady who stuck a hot cup of coffee between her legs at mcdonalds and then won 2.9 million dollars.
  7. 1985 - Smith, Reed and Reich, Add in Burroughs as well second best ever 1983 - Kelly and Talley 1987 was good as well - Conlon, Odoms, Meuller, Mckeller and Ballard
  8. Not saying he's correct, but everyone here was up in arms last year when the writers were saying EJ sucked and MC or TT would win the QB starting role. They also said the Bills would struggle and probably not make playoffs. Yet all these so called experts turned out to be experts and correct. Don't discount something just because you disagree. Open your mind and maybe you'll see something if you honestly reflect. Defensively, we got rid of an all pro, have injury concerns and didn't really address a huge need at safety. On offense, we added nobody, and lost a few marginal players. So yeah, we probably did regress, now it's on the coaches to teach these folks how to play.
  9. How's that any different than the Catholic Church saying it's okay to be gay, just remain celibate?
  10. I saw something a few days back, that listed Losman as one of the worst QB's in NFL history. It had Leaf as the worst.
  11. Losman had all the physical skills, but a 2 cent brain and was a complete !@#$. When Troy Vincent broke his leg because Losman was trying to show-up the defense in practice, you had to know it was over. There was rumor of him being a locker room cancer at Tulane and then when the whole story came out about how he got his leg broke, you knew the team would never fully back him. At that point it was just a matter of time before he was run out of town.
  12. Or maybe, it's to put pressure on Taylor to sign a long term deal now that is team friendly.
  13. If he is traded, the 1.6 million base would not count against our cap. Only the 1.2 million signing bonus. Cutting him wouldn't make sense, but getting even a used stick of gum for him, saves us 1.6 million against the cap.
  14. No respect for the longest serving Justice. Names a replacement the day after they remove the black cloth from his seat. So little respect for the position, the man being replaced, the family, and our country. I am not passing judgement on Garland but the choice or selection could not have garnered all possible vetting, background, and understanding of his positions or capability. The fact the person at 1600 didn't do a thorough job in this selection nor show any respect for the person being replaced. If they do bring this up for a vote, which they shouldn't and there is nothing in the constitution to say they must, then the whole vetting of this candidate must be done by the Senate when it really should have been done before they even heard of this selection.
  15. Why don't we ask Justice Scalia if it's in the constitution? Or Justice Thomas?
  16. Tough loss. To lose someone you've committed to spending the rest of your life and then realize they won't be there.
  17. So if the market has double in 7 years, but we lose 20% this year, then at the end of the year the market will have been up only 60% from the basis 7 years ago. That obviously can't show what happened with any new investigates, but 60% over 8 years with that much risk isn't such a great investment.
  18. I'm a little older than that.
  19. So what about Feely signing and coming in to replace Carpenter.
  20. We had better draft people on the lines (D and O) plus LB before we consider drafting a QB. TT is better than average and a huge upgrade from previous years including Orten.
  21. And Carsen ahead in about 40% of the polled states.
  22. Ok. So we finally agree. Yeah TT is nice and fine. But he's got a couple years to go before he can be at same level as Wilson.
  23. He said that about Cassel as well.
  24. Sort of like Bills fans throwing batteries at Brian Cox? Not the same. Bills fans were douches and simpletons. This is a what a leader of a team does.
  25. Most of the youngster here don't understand what happened in the 70's and why this is a big deal.
