You're right, I rethought this and I think there are cases where smoking should be permitted. If the owner of the bar, truely owns the bar he could allow it. Now that means he isn't leasing/renting or anything else on the building except the sole owner. Therefore if he owns the building and the bar it should be allowed if he wants, otherwise, no way because it isn't his bar really. If it is a publicly traded company bar (e.g., Benegins) it should not be permitted.

Freedom comes with responsibility. The responsibility not to blow smoke in the air I breath. I don't see how me eating a cheesesteak or hitting a white ball around a field affects anyone else. Of course you smoke in a building I am in or in the doorway just outside that building and I have to breath that sh-- because you have no responsibility to others. Fine smoke, just do it in your car, your house, and out of public doorways, and out of public places.

I am not. I have been consistent on this issue foreevr. Barking up the wrong tree there Billy Bob. As far as i am concerned all smoking should be outlawed as the second hand smoke is annoying, and dangerous to those within your radius.

BTW, did you know that nearly 1/4 of the military deaths over there were do to accidents, and not combat related in any form? Such as getting run over, drowning when falling into the river, heat related deaths, etc... It is just over 400 of the 1700 that are categorized as such. Again, the media doesn't like you to know the facts.

Well just outside of DC a couple year back about 200 folks died in an improvised bombing device. Around 3000 in NYC around the same timeframe. So you admit you are less likely to die of gunshot wounds in Iraq than in the US?

Except the majority of the deaths are not firearm related over there but improvised bombs. Hence you are less likely to get shot over there then here. Conclusion: basing your stats on incorrect information is moroic.

The latest I heard was in May the husband was ordered by the judge to release the whereabouts of the buried cremated remains, but he is refusing to tell. Not sure what will happen, but the ruling was in favor of her family on this one so they could visit, etc...

Again you really need to go do some real research and stop listening to CNN and reading the Washington Post. I would say that right now with her teaching background, degree and being around the Bush family for 30 years, that the "legitimate" politics are more ingrained in Laura then in Hilary. That backwoods Arkansaw politics doesn't cut it in the real world, and part of the reason that no major legislation ever got done for that 8 year period.

Mike TYson was a damn good fighter, who never really proved himself because he knocked guys out too quick. He was plan and simple a great slugger. His boxing skills and form were fair at best, but he could flat out hit. He has been exposed now since he no longer has the over powering punch, and has to really on skills to be able to go 6+ rounds. He has shown he can't do it. Overall he is probably in the top 20 boxers in the heavyweight division ever. But his general lack of skills shows. As far as he as a person goes, he is strang, he has done somethings wrong, but he paid his debt, and is out there trying to earn a living, so i will hand it too him and give him his dues.

That's my point, Laura has been involved in policy, and foreign politics. But she doesn't push her self on the front page demanding recognition. Some people like to do things without the recognition, becuase it is the right thing to do. However, most people don't, and want the spotlight, even if it is unearned. Like Hilary and her wonderful healthcare program that she pushed through while "they" were the president. What you don't remember that program? Me neither. Of course like it or not, we do have a new education program, NCLB. Again whther you like it or not, the program did get passed and implemented , and guess what. Laura had a lot to do with it, along with the lady who was just named to head Dept of Ed.

I know, but I am in a pissed off mood over the general and abundant stupidity of nearly our entire population. I cannot believe just how blind and moronic people can be most of the time.

How do you know what Jackie or Laura have done. It is my understand that Laura has been very involved in leading efforts on education reform, some woman health issues, stated an association for abused Afghan women, and has been very instrumental recently in some mideast talks. She maybe not as noticable, and surely not as vocal about her deeds but she is doing them. This also doesn't make Laura qualified either, but unlike Hilary she has a master in education, been a teacher for a long time and is probably more in tune with the common American's needs.
