I am sure it is just an old take, maybe different names to describe formation and routes, with one or two hot/audible calls for each play. Something called in huddle like" trips right, x cross, y slant, z fly, slide left on 2" which set it up as a 3 WR set right, three patterns and the blocking scheme. He then might have a different color, city name, etc.. to hot read off for each receiver. That's what Kelly had. And it would change each game. He might call out RED, designating whoever the RED receiver as his first read based on the defense. He might also call out RED 2, which means RED WR goes to his 2nd alternate route. Again that was how the Bills used to work, and I am sure it is different now. As someone mentioned you might have the QB call off all the alternate routes for each play in the huddle as well, if you have stupid receivers. This was actually part of the issue with Bledsoe and other receivers besides Moulds as Moulds knew the alternate routes and other receivers didn't always remember them for each play. Hence also why Shaw was cut.

KTRD, no offense my friend, but if we knew that especially the hot read and audible calls then the Bills would be in a lot of trouble. Because if we knew it, then the rest of the league would as well. Hence they would know the plays and be better able to defend.

Be consistant tehn. The poster stated that JP made no mistakes and didn't ever get sacked. Yet Sam said he was making mistakes and the stats show he got sacked. I wasn't agreeing nor disagreeing, just refuting the comments from another poster who was not using any facts what so ever,.

Show me a post where I said that. I have stated time and again that I am disappointed in his play and right now he sucks. I have stated my disappointment comes more from the coaches overhyping and stating how great he looked in these "private" off season sessions, and then he goes on the field and looks worse then some of the other 2nd year starters for other teams.

I don't know how to evaluate his future ability. From what I have seen I am disappointed in his level of play so far. I see some good things and I see some bad things. The difference on whether he will be good or not is if he can overcome those bad things.

You know I haven't really given an opinion of JP since last week, yet people are jumping in my sh-- about it. All I have done since is ask why others get jumped on when they question our QB choice. Umm... Sam came out on NFL Network saying he is making lots of boneheaded plays, running too soon, locking onto players, holding the ball too long etc... The non-safety. And he was sacked twice against Indy. WHile I don't fault him for these, and he will make some plays, he will also make mistakes. But if you're gonna argue, at least use facts.

I am very happy with the job on defense, but that has been solid for a few years now, I also am surprized and very happy with Aprils job on ST's. I have concerns still about Mcgee as our #2 CB, still seems like he is overmatched there, but Grey seems to provide some support to him. I think the Dline is doing well and should be okay even without Williams. But go ahead and keep focusing on only my negative comments. Of course thats how you get better. Be happy you got good comments ignore and don't work on the bad things, they will correct themselves.

RJ, Flutie, Bledoe and Collins also were thrown out as hopes for the Bills rebirth and leader to get us to 4 more SB's.
