Buffalo Bills fire Head Coach Chan Gailey
VABills replied to scribo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So they'd better hire a coach who's got all the parts pretty much lined up. Unless Gruden can sign Jay and Zimmer to come with him, I suspect Gruden isn't it. Doubtful a college coach either. If this is true, likely going to be Turner or Lovie. Otherwise we are behind the 8 ball with a lot of coaching spots. -

Entire coaching staff was released. Reported on ESPN. -
Two guys? You have a gay orgy tent now? Not that there is anything wrong with that. I'll be parking farther away however from now on. Don't need my daughter, neices, and nephews to see that.

I have no problem with that. they are doing quite a bit in the DC area with private roads. Dulles tollroad, Express lanes, and intercounty connector. Of course the government signs the deal and then publicly bitches for year when these companies raise toll rates, and of course the poor people have to use the "regular lanes" and it isn't fair. Oh those rich people in the lexus lanes get everything. Well folks you can't have private industry build a road and not expect them to make a profit, so shut the !@#$ up.

Average of 85 gun deaths each day in US
VABills replied to truth on hold's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually cars have been. Also, everyone want's to blame video games, which last I checked were on TV's via a video console. That being said the bigger TV's have made it more dramatic and life-like. People have had rifles, etc... forever in this country. The bigger differences have been the recent shoot-em-up games and bigger TV's. Seems like they are more of the cause than guns. -

Why do you need to smoke? Have a 60 inch TV? Have 2 cars? -
So you're saying it wasn't a concussion?

Those laws were passed by the white man to keep the black man down. No way they enforce them. Why can the white man in the rural areas have guns but we have these discrimitory laws to prevent the black man from having guns? -
home heater boiler [mine] catches fire
VABills replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Just be careful on what you sign up for. My understanding from some recent arcticles is that Congress/Whitehouse is preparing to put additional "pollution" taxes on boilers. Do some research before you replace or let the insurance company replace with one which could have long term financial implications. -
Rumor only!! Involves John Gruden

Marv sucks, what did he ever win? -
And in another failed gun law attempt. How did a convicted felon out on parole get these weapons? Enforce the laws we have and then maybe consider what doesn't work and fix that. But to come up with new laws is STUPID. BTW, I am not sure about all districts in VA, but I have some friends that are firemen and they usually do have a couple folks in each fire station that carry for these types of events.

Graham did fine. Moulds who turned out to be pretty good and was a first rounder only had 20 catches his first season and he had a HOFer throwing to him. I don't have a problem with the Graham pick at all, and if we get a QB who can throw the ball accurately beyond 10 yards Graham will shine.

No but Fitz in 3.5 years (there is that damn number again) is already only 3 INT's behind Dennis Shaw on most INT's in Bills history. He also is averaging 8 fumbles a year. He by himself is giving away the ball at a rate of nearly 2 turnovers a game. Is that acceptable to you?

My biggest isn't really a foreign invader. It's more like when the revolution started and the British knew who had all of the weapons as they had to be registered. If the US government really jumps the shark some day and a public uprising is called for, having an armed citizentry is going to really be the only way to balance things. I have issues with the government knowing everything, let alone all of the other psychos in the world knowing where and who has what weapons. -

Been doing that down here in Virginia for a while. Several of the newspaper publish everyone who gets a concealed weapons permit. And if we ever do have a foreign enemy come to our shows we just told them who to target first. -
When you give the other team extra chances like he does, yes.

Just like our military forces in Korea. They are a trip wire and there just to slow down North Korea/China if they decide to come across. The job is to slow them down/act as a deterant. If they come slow it down enough until you can activate a division of Marines from Okinawa, and other forces in theatre. Which again will not stop 500,000 screaming Chinamen, but will again slow it down further. Same in a school. If an on staff resource officer acts as a deterant, great. If something happens, then some folks will probably die, but if he can slow it down by a few minutes it gives time for calvary to respond. And the terrorists with that knowledge will target the ones with minimal security. Thus making the skies and skyscrapers even more dangerous. Are people really that short sighted?

Again if you commit one and the DE, then that's two guys out of position. The problem with the read option is the players have to stay in position and actually make tackles. That is something our LBers have not done, which is why teams continue to just run on us. If our Lbers start making tackles then the TE will be behind him and the QB will pull up and pass it to him. And yes, in little league your QB can't/won't because he isn't capable of reading three things. In the NFL they can.

He sucks. Let's draft another DB

Will we make history if we bring back Gailey?
VABills replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe there is out out clause if they don't make playoffs so many years in a row, or don't have enough fans in seats (ala, Major League). The new owners are demanding that Ralph keep it going and just get everyone to stay home. Then they can move. -
You're assumption is wrong about not playing the ass. This isn't little league. These guys will successfully run TE's and routes behind the LBers if they come up. If you crash the LBers and S down you will be giving up long roll out passes in effect all day long.
