  1. The real question is what happens if they hold him out several weeks, he comes back, takes a hit and has another concussion of spasm or whatever it was. That's when everyone will be urging him to hang it up
  2. Sadly, like so many things in today's world, there are lots of people who will only do something (give to charity, run a marathon, go to a concert) if they can let everyone know they've done it on social media.
  3. Check out their forum. Last week they thought it was funny/excusable that their defensive guys were pulling all sorts of ***** on Josh Allen, calling him a whiner etc. Now there's a thread titles something like "there was clearly a bounty out on Tua", with others calling the Bengals cheating scum. Too funny
  4. I'll never laugh at someone getting injured but that face Jones made was hilarious
  5. Boomer is a lefty. I no longer like or trust left handed QBs
  6. You know when people complain that we put too much on Josh, pretty soon he'll be our only player out there. I wonder if he can throw them high enough that he can give himself time to get down the field and make a catch
  7. NE are still better than buffalo! Baby GOAT! They only threw 3 passes and they still beat Buffalo! Oh sorry that was last year
  8. This really is like the aftermath of the NE wind game last season when media types like Stephen A Smith were saying Allen should be ashamed for not generating another score and winning the game. People also were calling Jones Baby GOAT, saying Belichick was a genius for the way he'd handled the team and rebuilt them in one year. HOT TAKE. HOT TAKE. HOT TAKE. If we lose to the Ravens it will get even worse. We'll be a paper tiger, Lamar will be the best QB from the 2018 draft. Yada, yada, yada. Then we'll win 4 or 5 in a row and people will say we're the HOTTEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE. Super Bowl Favorites again. It's all so predictable but I'll lap it up all the same!
  9. I can relate. I'm exactly the same when I lose at Monopoly
  10. I didn't see that. Easy to see why his throw off his back foot failed to reach the end zone at the end. His hand was also being worked on after that series
  11. Remember when we beat NE 31-0 to start the season and they returned the favor by beating us by the same score in the last week? Hopefully we give them a good beat down when we play next. I also remember back in the Kelly days when they beat us early in the year, in Miami, got cocky about it and we blew them out in the rematch
  12. Also, Josh looked a little sluggish today. Heat must have got to him too. His throws had noticeably less zip, hence why he had so many near INTs I think. Even on his run for the first down he didn't seem to be moving with his usual speed and power
  13. They did play well defensively, no doubt. I wonder if teams will be able to copy what they did, and if so will that be effective in a 'regular' game at normal temps. Not to harp on the heat but this really was a one off sort of game. There's a reason even the mighty Pats at the height of their powers had trouble playing there in September. I do worry about getting healthy in time for the Ravens. Lamar is playing out of his mind, like he expects a billion dollars per year with his new contract. They came up with a way to stop him last time we played so hopefully we can slow him down next week
  14. I'm not actually too bothered by this loss. We were the better team despite playing mostly backups on D. Still were a spiked ball away from winning it. That heat and all the guys leaving with cramps and dehydration won't be repeated, just like the wind game against NE last season. This team will be pissed now and will come back stronger. I said in the game thread, I think we murder Miami in the rematch.
  15. I'm seeing this similar to the wind game vs NE last season. It's such a crazy situation with injuries and the intense heat. If the Phins hold on and win some people will be saying the division is theirs now, just like they did NE last season. Of course we know how that ended and I think this will end the same way ultimately
  16. I think Miami will try and run it down our throats now. The offense is wilting in the heat now they'll try and make the defense wilt
  17. To be honest looking at the heat and the amount of guys going down I'll be happy if we get out of there without anyone being taken to hospital, let alone getting the win
  18. Some of the challenges McD throws and he leaves that one in his pocket?
  19. Well on the bright side, the heat is insane, the injuries to the D are debilitating and the Dolphins are playing like it's their SB. To come out 14-14 at the half ain't that bad really.
