- Virgil restarts his "few thoughts about the game thread" but this time decides to put them in a particular order With your feet on the air and your head on the ground Try this trick and spin it, yeah Your head will collapse, and there's nothing in it And you'll ask yourself Where is my mind? Where is my mind? Where is my mind? -

What do you all think of games being canceled?

Imagine if a coach (*cough* Bill Belichick *cough*) used that to his advantage in a huge game where his team is losing... -

The Damar situation set a precedence. It'll be interesting next time there's a 'serious' injury during the regular season (the kind where we see players kneeling in prayer), if there will be pressure on coaches and league officials to cancel the game. If not they might get called out from certain people as being heartless, only thinking of their careers, money etc. -
Jets all the way. A Rod, Hackett, that defense, strong running game, superb young receiver. They simply cannot lose this game, while the Bills are one incomplete pass to Diggs from having a full locker room meltdown. Our window has slammed shut, the Jets' window is so wide and inviting Zach Wilson could throw a pass through it and not miss. Jets 37 - Bills 16

I prefer Sal when he does his segments with the other guys on WGR, 10 minutes or so at a time. I always download those during the season. I don't really enjoy him hosting a show himself though. Another I listen to now and then is Peacock and Williamson as part of the locked on podcasts. Matt Williamson is very good IMO. Years ago he worked with Ross Tucker on an ESPN podcast before Tucker went solo. He's a former scout (Browns so take that for what it's worth) but tends to evaluate players in that way, similar to how Greg Cosell does). If you guys have never listened and are looking for something new it's worth a shot. I guess an obvious one is Around the NFL but those guys annoy me when I listen too much so I tend to stick to the preview shows and the rounds-ups after the games

Better come and watch these boys you're going to play on TV. Looks like they mean business

Just had a look at the Bears forum to see if there was anything interesting. Page 2 of their gameday thread: Is Edmonds already hurt? Haven’t seen him since he got his pants juked off by the RB on what should’ve been a loss.
