In terms of the designed runs, I still hate them and wince every time I see Josh take heavy contact. I agree with what Romo said, less designed runs but a hell of a lot more scrambling. If I'm Brady I tell Josh to scramble the ***** out of them. Be sensible and slide or go out of bounds but drive them crazy with it. I like the way Mahomes runs. He doesn't invite contact and is almost cocky about the way he'll pick up a first down and scamper out of bounds. that has to be so demoralizing for a defense.

This is good timing. Sometimes we see teams make a change at QB and it lifts them for 1 or 2 games just because of the newness. It would be great if that defense can play lights out and he can do just enough to trip up Miami. I can't see it but will be watching with interest Can't imagine you ever doing that. Go Phins!

I'm no fan of Davis but he's definitely due one of his monster games. I hope it comes against the Eagles. Maybe Brady was being super smart, no Davis targets this week so the Eagles have to spend more time planning for Shakir and Kincaid and forget about Gabe.
