Is TBD doing enough to discuss whether the Bills did enough at WR?
RobbRiddick replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I checked out the forum combine the other day and Chiefs Planet was way ahead in average manhood length but they were let down by so many having tattoos of Mahomes' face on them. PhinHeaven scored impressive measurables in the Inferiority Complex drills. TBD really improved its draft stock by breaking all records in the QB Bashing competition which is measured by comparing two intersecting lines on a graph - one representing the level of bashing and the other representing how goods said QB is. Jets Nation led the way on the inter-forum Trolling which was to be expected. Kiper now had them as his number 1 forum prospect -
You remember Atwater's hit in the superbowl against Green Bay? Knocked himself out and one of his own guys as well I think. What I miss is the defensive battles that would now be called boring. The cat and mouse, cagey nature of the game just doesn't feel the same now with everything being geared towards offense. I still consider super bowl xxiii the greatest of all time but I read a report recently where the writer was saying it was only a good ending but a terrible game because it was 3 - 3 at halftime. To me that's completely missing the point but maybe I'm just middle aged and out of date

Dolphins are banking on home field advantage throughout the playoffs. If they get that they're very very dangerous. If they have to go on the road to KC, buffalo, cincy, any of the tough cold weather places, they're screwed

KDIGGZ is going to orga*m like Meg Ryan when he hears this news -
Even if he makes the team I really don't expect much from him. The most I could see is a Robert Foster type of year, absent for most games but shows up the odd week with big receiving numbers based on one or 2 long passes. Maybe 4 TDs over the season. Depending on how the rest of the guys do, those could end up being some nice complementary numbers, but first he has to stay healthy

Stephen Ross Turned Down $10 BILLION For the Dolphins
RobbRiddick replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering his age he'll probably be under the ground in half that time so why should he care? -
Obviously these guys from big colleges get interviewed and appear on TV well before they enter the NFL, but this guy already seems quite seasoned at it all. Seems completely relaxed having questions thrown at him and comes across as very confident in himself

The name Buffalo Bill and transitioning always makes me think of something else... Now rub the lotion on your skin

Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
RobbRiddick replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw this earlier. He's likeable and funny but very goofy I guess. Much goofier than Allen, who everyone describes as goofy. But he's also very very confident. It was funny comparing him to other first rounders on their first day in Buffalo where they're a bit overwhelmed by it all. Coleman just seemed really relaxed and unfazed, talking to people, joking, almost walking around the facilities like he owned the place. He definitely has star appeal which is obviously dependant on how he plays. But if he ends up looking great on the field he'll be a star -

So when allen is standing next to him it will read 17 and 0. Must always make sure Josh stands on his right side

I saw Brady during the promo for his comedy roast during the draft and he's starting to look like Barry Manilow. Definitely had some work done on his face

This Will Be The Make Or Break Year For This Regime
RobbRiddick replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly think they're safe this year, even if the team went 7-10 or 6-11. I do think this off season could be the defining one in terms of how the fans see Beane. If the team disappoints massively next season and the WRs don't produce, this past draft will really come back to haunt him. Especially if one or both of the Xaviers turn out to have a great season, not to mention if any of the other guys we ignored with that second 2nd rounder look good as rookies too. But even if they do end up with a losing record this year, I think Pegula will see it as Beane has already pitched it, as a transition year. So he'll definitely give the GM and coach another year at least to show they can get things back on track. Maybe someone like Brady will be the fall guy. I'm optimistic though and have a feeling that without the Diggs distractions Josh will have a great year, maybe will even win that first MVP. Media narrative is a big thing in these situations, and the narrative going into the season will be "they haven't done enough to help Josh Allen", so if he goes out and puts up the kind of numbers he's been doing a while now, with maybe a few less INTs, I think people will see him as a miracle worker. -
Unpopular opinion in the NFL world where Mahomes is God but when Kelce was struggling earlier in the season Mahomes looked ordinary. The talking heads kept saying "Mahomes has regressed because he's having to be superman" to which I thought "Allen has to be superman every season, every week and he's better at it than Mahomes". Then as the playoffs grew closer Reid schemed Kelce open more and Mahomes suddenly looked like the Mahomes of old. Look at the TD against the Bills in the playoffs, Kelce was so wide open Zach Wilson could have hit him in stride, then after he scored the announcers immediately started praising Mahomes and his genius.

Hopefully his age catches up with him this year and his legs fall off. Then his billionaire husband is so shocked his vocal chords fall out which causes every Swifty in the world to spontaneously combust. Christ, I hope we can win the SB at some point so I can stop being so bitter
