  1. Sirriani told the Eagles to "go hard" today so AJ will be reading this
  2. I plan on just watching via my laptop while sitting on the toilet. Every time Henry carries the ball I'm going to strain to see if that has some sort of karmic effect on his performance. Roger Goodell paid you to type this
  3. This is the problem with football when compared to so many other sports. There are so many ways for a player to draw a penalty that one can be thrown on literally any play. A ref could throw a flag if he wanted to without seeing anything, then say "holding on player XX" and a replay might show that there was a borderline call. Same with pass interference, offensive pass interference, the list goes on. I think it's the fact that they just aren't consistent that people get so aggrieved. When it isn't consistent it makes them stand out as being thrown on purpose to help the team gaining the yardage.
  4. "I'm scared daddy" "I know son, I can smell it"
  5. I definitely feel like an old fan. I mean I am sort of old but not old-old. But I do feel out of touch with the modern NFL. Just watching the games like the Lions and Commanders, on one hand it was a fun game, especially early on, but it just feels so arena league to me. Just score, score, score, score, back and forth. Everything feels slicker now, cleaner and sanitized. I was watching The Drive on YouTube a while ago and that is the kind of thing I think of when I think about playoff football. A muddy field, no frills stadium, players covered in sh*t, going the length of the field in 2 minutes being a truly monumental act. Watching now, even in my moments of enjoyment, it doesn't feel like the NFL anymore. It's just a slick, WWE style sports entertainment where they're always searching for the next big storyline. I've said before Josh Allen really re-ignited my interest in the game because I love watching him play so much. part of that might be because he feels very old school, not on the sense that QBs were ever like him years ago, but more how he plays the game, just ploughing through people and stiff arming.
  6. f**kin A, you f**kin got that right, you over-articulate piece of s**t. Oh, and go Bills
  7. Just been glancing at the Detroit Lions forum game thread. Always interesting when you look at the extreme confidence before the game kicked off. Our time is NOW! Most of us have waited our entire life to be in this situation. 60 minutes away from having the opportunity to HOST the NFCC Game for a trip to our 1st SB! The Commanders don’t know what they are in for today. Many have said don’t be too confident, don’t jinx anything, etc. Usually I’d agree with them but THIS is a different year and time. This isn’t @ Washington. Bring it! I’m so fired up guys and gals. Actually had trouble sleeping this week. Let’s hear Ford Field ROAR tonight! GO Lions! and 61-10 Lions!! They will call us classless for running up the score after our Lions eat their liver and chuck the fava beans in their collective faces….meanwhile Dan Campbell and his crew will be drinking straight from the bottle of Chianti. I always admire these kinds of fans to a certain extent. I could never feel this way before a playoff game. That fan base will be reeling today
  8. I feel like Stroud is going to throw a pick on this drive
  9. They'll still win no matter who they play.
  10. Flags Kelce TD Shot of Swift Rinse, repeat. Super Bowl parade, blah blah blah
  11. ha, that was worse than a Josh flop
  12. Can we just give the Chiefs the trophy now? It seems pointless to even continue the season, it's so obvious they're going to win it all again. Has been since before the season even started
  13. Holy s**t boys, we gotta game!
  14. Meh, with the Texans offense being so anaemic you have to think that's the beginning of the end for Houston. They have to march down now and score
  15. Imagine if the Bills could rush Mahomes like that, we'd have a couple of super bowls already
  16. Blatant hold there on the pursuing d lineman
  17. Yeah and drops like that one from Hutchinson won't help. They can't really make many mistakes in this game and hope to stick with them.
  18. Notice the TV didn't show a replay of the hit on Stroud
  19. They're a great D line as it is but you have to think they have some extra gas today after basically being written off by everyone all week. The shows I've seen have basically just talked about the Chiefs playing either Ravens or Bills, not even mentioned Houston as a possibility
  20. Come on refs, throw a flag, they touched Patrick!
  21. So frustrating to see them get an extra lease of life from the refs when the Texans should have the ball back
  22. There you go. Mahomes hit literally as he threw it, flag
