  1. The perception around the league and media is that Beane is a very good GM. The Jets fans were lamenting the fact that he leapfrogged them a couple of times and took DTs because that was a big area of need for them. We as fans of the Bills look at everything in more detail and make a lot more of his failures which Im sure is the same for other fans around the league, even fans of teams we consider really well run. Apparently even the chiefs fans were unhappy with their draft. You'd think they'd know to trust their regime by now considering they make the Super Bowl every year. I think Beane is great in general but I would like him to hit more home runs with his first rounders. that's been a real weakness of his which has been redeemed in large part by Josh Allen who is arguably the best pick in Bills history. His mid to late round picks have had a bunch of diamonds though
  2. I'm not as smart as Beane but I also don't see the point of not having a speedster on the roster who you can use, at the least, as a gadget guy and to help keep the defense honest. I like the idea of having a guy you can use on jet sweeps like KC, and who you can just tell to tear down the field a few times a game and let Josh unleash one deep.
  3. Damn, wish Brady was still playing, would love to see this guy fall stomach-first onto Tommy during practice and turn him into a diamond
  4. We're almost at my favorite time of draft weekend, when we bring in the undrafted FAs and anoint one of them the ultimate diamond in the rough! I'm guessing this year it will be a WR with speed to burn but who only caught 2 passes in college
  5. White's most valuable contribution in camp might be helping to coach these guys up
  6. Or they're worried about Benford getting another concussion and want to make sure they have plenty of depth
  7. I've loved Hawes most of my adult life. Wasted a lot of money on them though
  8. Wonder who the next pick will be? Offense? WR? RB? Maybe a safety? No idea what's left
  9. And there's the yearly late round CB who will go on to become a solid player (possibly better than their first round CB). That's one thing I love about Beane and these scouts. Getting a LB or defensive back in the 5th, 6th or 7th round and you have a real belief they could end up being a solid contributor, or even a great player
  10. yeah, they're acting like he was imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. It's funny because one of the criticisms has been that he has an entitled attitude, and they're all acting entitled on his behalf. They're desperately trying to turn it into some sort of racial hate crime, like George Floyd. Stephen A Smith has been comparing it to Kapernick. I guess it will give them something to talk about during the dry months of the offseason
  11. "Hey, kid. First rule of being a QB in the NFL - get yourself a small towel"
  12. I guess Deion is going to be the Browns HC in 2026
  13. To be fair, Cleveland has a very good track record of picking up QBs
  14. Who'd have thought the Browns would pick him?
  15. I've just been reading the social media site formally known as Prince and I'm (maybe naively) shocked by the amount of people saying Sanders' slide is blatant racism.
  16. I like the speed. I have a feeling they will grab another CB with one of the 2nd round picks, maybe the 4th since they draft so well with the mid to late picks.
  17. Just think, a few young men in GB right now will one day be labelled as busts on this very site (possibly before the end of training camp). Amazing when you think they have it all ahead of them
  18. James Cook angry about his contract situation James Cook ecstatic with happiness about a contract extension that makes him the highest paid RB in history
  19. Should be six teams per conference but you know Goodall will expand to 18 regular season games and add an 8th playoff team. Money money money. I’m sure the TikTok generation love it
  20. Didn't they give him a massive extension a few months ago? Sure I remember everyone on fin heaven saying what an amazing move that was
  21. It's funny. I still think of the Jags and Panthers as being relatively new teams yet they've just reached their 30 year anniversary. This is the sort of thing that happens when you get old
