  1. Foles must love his gig. Keep the bench warm for a majority of the season, come in as the regular season winds down, then have all the fun of playing in the postseason
  2. Good start from the Eagles with the INT. The Eagles have struggled for much of the year, I wonder if they'll go into a new gear now the postseason is well under way
  3. Right, I'm off to watch porn. If I have to see someone getting f****d it may as well be an attractive woman rather than the Chargers
  4. If he'd said it about Brady then I would be worried
  5. Chargers have to score a TD here and then get a turnover
  6. Why have the Chargers even put their defense on the field? Patriots may as well be playing against air
  7. Jesus, I am so sick of this. Nearly 20 years of watching these bastards have their way with everyone in the AFC. More than anything else it's just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.
  8. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! Hopefully that fires up the Chargers defense
  9. Jesus, Brady's 38th start in the postseason. Incredible
  10. I knew he was coaching but didn't know he was there
  11. This is Rivers' best chance to get in the history books with his classmates Big Ben, Eli and JP L... okay, forget JP
  12. I pray the Lord Brady's knees to break
  13. That penalty was bull####. He went under the punter. Maybe his foot touched him but hardly a penalty
  14. That's what worries me if they play the Pats next week. The Chiefs have been a bit sloppy at times. Some of Mahomes passes have been sloppy. Pats are the kind of team that won't let them get away with that
  15. I had a look at one earlier in the half. Basically looked just like a game day thread here - lots of overreacting
  16. Remember the days when the Bills used to dominate teams like this in the playoffs?
  17. Yeah, this would be even better. If the Pats lose tomorrow then I could really relax and enjoy the championship game without even caring who ends up winning.
  18. If KC plays the Pats next week I hope they destroy them. Not just win a close game but humiliate them. I hope Brady has a terrible game full of miss throws and INTs, and that the Chiefs run the score up on them. And if it's still snowing next week then I hope one of the KC fans throws a snowball right into the back of Brady's head as he's sitting on the bench on the 4th quarter wondering whether he should retire.
  19. I just thought, it's 26 years since Frank Reich led the Bills to victory over the Steelers 24-3 in the divisional round of the playoffs, which was also a Saturday game.
  20. Amazing. I turned the game on and: 1. Heard Al Michael's voice 2. Saw the snow falling 3. Saw the natural turf of Arrowhead I'll admit it, my joystick began to get a little stiff. This is what the playoffs are all about. Hope it's a great game.
  21. I think it would come down to cost. I'm not sure what Watkins' contract numbers are for the Chiefs, but Foster is obviously incredibly affordable right now. Watkins is one of those guys with lots of potential, and every year you think this will be the one where he might show that potential to the full, but he hasn't done it yet. When you consider the underachieving, over pay, injuries and some of the bad attitude he had when he was in Buffalo I think I probably would just go with Foster at this point. There's something to be said for the way Foster has had to work so hard for what he's a achieved so far, especially the balls he showed after being cut and coming back.
  22. Interesting stats: Sammy in 10 games - 40 rec, 519 yards, 3 TDs, with a longest catch of 50 Foster in pretty much his last 7 games - 27 rec, 541 yards, 3 TDs, with a longest catch of 75 Also, in 15 games with LA last season, Sammy managed 39 rec for 593 yards and 8 TDs.
  23. I'd like to see them really go after the O-line in FA, then use the draft for WRs, a TE and a RB, with a defensive pick maybe at 9 since the draft appears to be heavier with defensive talent at the top. Maybe get a C and G in FA and grab the best tackle at 9 (if he's still there of course). I wonder how hard it will be to get FA WRs to come when they assume we're a run team with a QB who is always having his low percentage talked about. Whereas O-linemen you would think would love the idea of playing in Buffalo since it's cold weather and we want to be run heavy, so they know they'll have the chance to plough defences and be a bit more old school. Whatever happens I'm really excited for the offseason this year, more than I have been for... as long as I can remember actually.
