  1. Yeah, I was mainly thinking about some of the call ins on WGR earlier. It was fun, people were going insane over it. When I heard we were swapping 1sts I actually started to talk myself into it being a good idea. Then I read one of ABs Instagram posts and remembered he's a dick
  2. Ha, actually many of the responses today have been similar to the way men react to hot women when they get rejected: She's too full of herself! (He's a cancer) She's hot but too high maintenance! (he's a diva) Have you seen her mom?! She'll look terrible when she's 40 (he's over the hill) Etc.
  3. Let's kidnap AB, cover him in wing sauce and feed him to John Murphy
  4. LOL this is like being one of the contestants on one of those dating shows who gets rejected by the hot woman in the preliminary rounds and is then forced to watch her go on an all expenses paid date with the guy she ended up picking.
  5. I have nothing to say because I'm too busy crying and stocking up tinned food for the end of the world but I just wanted to post in this thread because it's going to go down as a classic, and modern day anxieties about being left out of popular moments compels me to take part.
  6. Are they planning on doing what the Browns did when they signed Tyrod and drafted Baker? Wonder if he'll start more than a few games
  7. It does amaze me how certain players can be projected to go late first or early second, then have a great time in the 40 and it suddenly rockets them up the board. I know there's actually a little more to it than that but every year you get a few guys over drafted purely because they're seen as athletic freaks.
  8. I remember being underwhelmed due to his age at the time. Like your wife saying she's bought you a Ferrari for Valentines and then you go out to the drive and see it's got 300,000 miles on the clock. Of course being a desperate Bills fan I was still sort of grateful
  9. That really doesn't narrow it down.
  10. It's that arrogance again. Even if he likes him he'd rather win with his own guy, thus making him more of a genius.
  11. Here's a hypothetical: if Josh Allen was in the draft this year, would he go number 1? Would the Cards trade Rosen and take him, or would another team give up a bundle to trade up to number 1 and snag him?
  12. It all depends on whether Rosen is good as giving massages or not
  13. Where's Wade? Given that choice I'd probably go for Williams and hope that he'd learnt a lot from his previous stint. He seemed to get a lot out of the Browns, despite being a borderline psychopath
  14. I could see them doing it because so many of these coaches seem more interested in winning with their own guys rather than the players that were already in place, at least the big name players.
  15. In other news, Vontae Davis is also planning to unretire, but sources say he won't announce it until halftime of the first game
  16. I sort of agree on the one hand, but I do enjoy looking at mocks none the less, mainly because I don't watch college ball, so the mocks help me learn a bit more about the players. I remember when I was a kid, the draft just seemed to be this thing that happened and didn't really get too much attention. These days I swear there are some people who prefer this time of year to the actual season. Some people just get caught up in the little details of things and obsess over them to the point of insanity. I believe we're collectively known as MEN.
  17. This thread now has more pages than seconds it took for Kraft to blow his wad
  18. I sometimes try and watch the nfl network but it's mostly dog *****. You get 2 minutes of nonsense followed by 4 minutes of commercials.
  19. They don't have to be BIG NAME guys to contribute and play well. When they signed Hyde and Poyer everyone was a bit "meh" and they were seen as stop gaps until the following years draft. Turns out they've been great for us. It's all about finding guys who fit the system well.
  20. I heard Belichick wanted him but Kraft is apparently sick of Crabbs... ah, never mind
  21. Hmmm, would I get fired if Billy suddenly decided to take a dump at the feet of Tom Brady?
  22. Pats will use it to their advantage as they always do, creating another "us against the whole world" situation in their locker room. Maybe we should ask Terry to take one for the team and get caught humping a mule or something.
  23. Reform one of the SB trophies into a giant silver butt plug and make the old man sit on it for all 7 rounds of the draft.
  24. He's always reminded me more of Favre tbh. The passing, obviously, not the running. I loved watching Favre play which is probably why I love watching Allen. It's funny, I was watching his combine trials the other day and he has the weirdest running style during his sprints, looks really awkward and unnatural. Lots of the comments mention it as well. Yet when he's out there running on the field he looks so natural. I've been watching quite a few Allen vids lately, there's some great ones on YouTube. He's easily my fav player now and I really hope he ends up being a great one for us. He has just the right kind of cockiness that a QB needs, the kind that's confident but never makes him a bad teammate to have. Oh, and that TD pass against the Jags was something to behold. 70+ yards with defenders all around him with almost a flick of the wrist. If he starts doing that sort of ***** regularly this season he'll become a favourite of many neutrals around the country. People love entertaining players and he's certainly one of those
