  1. ***** the Patrio… huh? He said something good about one of our players? Cool!
  2. On the one hand I feel bad for the guy, but on the other I'm like "whoo! Some Bills news!" I just think RB is such an easy position to fill now, especially if you have a solid line. All these guys coming out of the mid to late rounds and giving great production. They can grab a guy in the draft pretty easy. It's one area I don't worry about too much.
  3. It's actually quite funny, but I hope he pulls his hamstring all the same
  4. I actually searched for Sullivan's 'new' website the other day because I wanted to see what his thoughts were on FA but realised the last article posted on there was late last year. I guess that little venture fell on its ass pretty quick
  5. I just like the idea of having a Josh Allen on the field for the whole game.
  6. I'd be shocked if a lot of teams hadn't enquired about him. Especially if they want a third and maybe a late round draft pick as well. From what I saw of him last year I thought he has the potential to be really good. I also think he has the kind of attitude that this set back in his career won't wreck his confidence. To be honest I think in the long run last year's first round crop of QBs is going to be one for the ages.
  7. The more competition in camp the better. Take a guy like Teller, even if he thought he had a great chance of keeping his starting job, now he knows he has to work that much harder to be the day 1 starter
  8. These super duper steroid-charged advanced analytics are all well and good, but what the hell is wrong with just watching a player over ENTIRE games (not just highlights/lowlights) and making your decision based on that? All this ***** about breaking down Allen's throws, the angle of his head, the microchip in his brain telling us what he was thinking about at the moment the ball was released, how long his finger nails were and whether that effected ball trajectory. All you really need to know is that when you watch every play from the season he obviously improved loads as the year went on, and he has all the intangibles that these metrics ironically cannot measure. I'm sure these analytics would have told us Tyrod was a better, more accurate QB than Allen. Watch the two of them play a significant number of games and you realize which one you'd rather have.
  9. Worst case scenario is he doesn't make it through camp. Best case is that he ends up being much more adept at this position. If he played TE earlier in his career then he must have some of the fundamentals down. As Rap says, a cool story to watch in camp.
  10. I am not Fisher but I know him really well and let me tell you I've been working out with him and Brady and Rivers and lots of other QBs and let me tell you this deal with the Bills is gonna get done. Trust me, gonna happen
  11. Well we converted a te into a hall of fame tackle!
  12. If I had an extra arm in camp that I really liked I'd cut Anderson on the understanding that he'd instantly switch to an assistant coach, devoting all his time to Allen
  13. I meant I wasn't 100% sure if it was LEVY who picked Whitner, rather than it was Levy who picked WHITNER.
  14. I clearly remember pretty much every Bills fan back before that draft lobbying for him. Funny how a lot of the time the fans really do seem to know more than the idiots in charge. It pains me to call Marv an idiot (pretty sure he chose Whitner) but in that case it's hard to argue against
  15. I love it when people disagree with the masses. It makes a person really unique and hip, like flat earthers
  16. with injuries the way they are you can never have enough linemen, I say add some more in the draft
  17. Thanks for taking the time to get that done. Really like Beane and his approach to things, can't wait to see what he does in the draft
  18. I try not to get carried away with the optimism. I will say that I haven't been this pumped since Donahoe was GM and we had that offseason where we got Adams, Spikes etc. and had Bledsoe, then got Milloy just before the opener. In retrospect Donahoe was one of those GMs who was partly out to show how smart he was and to make a splash. I think that's why he got McGahee when we didn't really need him. It came across as a 'smart' move that would get the media buzzing, which it did. You could say that's what Beane was trying to do in going after AB but I don't see that as the same, and the guys he's got in FA I see as intelligent moves that are under the radar a bit, sort of like Poyer and Hyde were
  19. Think he's her BF or was. Lucky guy
  20. I'd pay good money to bang that host of GMFB, even after Amendola's been there
  21. I loved the Vikings game but he sort of fell off a cliff after that up until the injury. The moment when I got REALLY excited about him was the jags game when he threw that long TD with a flick of the wrist, despite having three defenders on him.
  22. Thing is, those same experts who say Allen is inaccurate and had a bad rookie year are the same ones who said we were fools for trading Tyrod.
  23. I wish regular life was like the NFL. Be pretty ***** at your job, get let go and then walk right into another really well paid position. Actually, I've worked with a few people who have done that
  24. To be fair I watched his highlights on YouTube recently and he had a hell of a deep ball, just everything else that sucked
  25. Same here. I remember him getting drafted like it was yesterday
