I think Allen will throw a lot of INTs but a lot of TDs as well. I see him having more confidence but over confidence at times. Plus our offense will be more wide open and he'll have more time to throw, so he'll be taking more shots down field. I could see him reminding me a lot of Favre this season. Bad throw followed by a great throw - similar to last season but on a bigger scale. I don't care if he does, so long as he slings it around and we score a bunch of points I don't care about him being perfect. I do think he'll have a few 300+ yard games with multiple TDs

Bills 2019 schedule officially released
RobbRiddick replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had 11-5 before the release, the close out is tough but if they get momentum I can see them doing it. Could also see them having a melt down to end the season and missing the playoffs but I won't dwell on that right now. -

That Cleveland game would have made a great Monday nighter in my opinion. Allen Vs Mayfield and all that. -
Guess The Bills First Regular Season Game For 2019
RobbRiddick replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's start with NE. They always start shaky so it'd be good to get a win against them early on (hopefully things turn out better than they did last time we beat them opening day) -
What do you want your team to be good at?

I really want the draft to start -
Man caves - who's got them? Let's see them.
RobbRiddick replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't have a man cave, but if I did I would have a large framed picture of Al Bundy on the wall -
Tyree worked out for bills (Edit: SIGNED as UDFA)

I do think he would make sense as a 7th because you can just sit him for a couple of years as your backup and there aren't going to be many voices crying 'start him' as soon as Allen has a bad thow. And if he doesn't show anything then you can let him walk without much lost -
Trade market for Rosen "soft"
RobbRiddick replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I was in need of a QB I would definitely trade a third for him without blinking. Probably a second. I'm glad we got Allen but I think Rosen showed real potential on a really bad team. Plus he's got the cockiness to not let a trade effect him too much -
Where Are They Now? Safety Coy Wire
RobbRiddick replied to The Avenger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I kinda like hearing about where certain players are now. In some ways, I prefer hearing what happened to the busts/lower draft picks that I remember really well. So here's another. Ashton Youboty. I always remember him for having the longest neck I've ever seen. Dude looked like a cartoon character. Drafted in the third round back in 2006 - the same year we took Whitner in the first. After getting 23 tackles, an int and a sack in 2007 I remember hoping he might amount to something. Sadly it didn't happen. He hung on with the Bills until 2010, then spent a year with the Jags (mostly injured), then rode off into the sunset, his immense neck creating the oddest shadow you can imagine. So what's he doing now? "Former NFL cornerback Ashton Youboty is in his third season on staff at Wisconsin in 2019, serving in a quality control role that has him assisting with the Badgers' defense… Youboty went on to play five seasons in Buffalo before finishing his pro career with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011. Most recently, Youboty spent the 2016 season as a volunteer in the Miami (Fla.) recruiting department and also took part in a scouting fellowship with the Bills. An Academic All-Big Ten selection, Youboty earned a bachelor's degree in family resource management from Ohio State. He completed graduate studies at Miami and earned an MBA in management and mergers & acquisitions in May 2017." -
I purchased a pair of Allen's underpants off ebay last week. Is that normal? In all seriousness (really, I didn't buy the underwear, I was outbid) I have watched his highlights numerous times, particularly the second Dolphins game. Part of it is excitement for the new season and part of it is that he's just so fun to watch. Far more fun than Tyrod or Edwards or Losman etc. He better be good this season otherwise I'll be highly pissed

News! Real news. Why is this thread not at 30 pages?! I do like the clip of him taking down Brady. To be fair I'd become a fan of a toy car if Brady fell over it

Yeah, crazy is good so long as you don't have to live with them. She looks like she'd be able to suck a golf ball through a length of hose pipe

Your All-Time Fav/Memorable Bills Plays
RobbRiddick replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelly fumbles the snap on the first drive against the Raiders in the championship game. He picks it up, turns, runs to his right and (in the words of the great Dick Enberg) "throws to Lofton for a touchdown!" Some others that jump straight to mind: Sam Adams lumbering into the endzone during the 31-0 win on opening day Vs the Pats Any play involving a Fred Jackson stiff arm Bruce stopping OJ Anderson on 4th and short in the Super Bowl The Terrence McGee return that didn't quite make the endzone Josh's hurdle Josh's flick of the wrist throw down the field against the Jags Andre's 3TDs in the comeback So many -

The Offseason Has Officially Reached a New Low
RobbRiddick replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, it's like the world's worst singles advert... Good humoured gent, 51, seeks not hugely fat to lower end of obesity female. Own teeth not essential. -
A very interesting mock and you describe it all with such confidence and conviction that there were a couple of moments where I thought the draft had already taken place and you were merely recapping what had happened.

Really enjoying this thread. It's great reading all the opinions from guys who know their stuff regarding these college prospects (I personally know zilch). Great stuff everyone.

Love this sounder. When I get to the age when I need to start taking Viagra, this is the sound effect I'm going to use to let the wife know that things are 'looking up'

Theory on Brady’s retirement
RobbRiddick replied to quinnearlysghost88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady's like the ***** Duracell battery bunny, or that Whitney Houston song from The Bodyguard. He's just going to go on and on and on and on. I was thinking the other day about the time we beat them 31-0, how full of hope I was for the season. Then it occurred to me how young I was then and how different my life was. And Brady is STILL playing. We've been to Afghanistan, Bin Laden is dead, Saddam is dead, a million episodes of Lost, about 1000 seasons of the Big Bang Theory, my pubes have started turning grey and BRADY IS STILL PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
With ten picks I think it's very likely they could move back up into the 2nd or 3rd round. Though I could see Beane doing a lot of wheeling and dealing during the draft. Like, if things shake out properly, I could see him either trading up in the first round, or trading down in the first to get an extra 2nd, then maybe trading back into the 2nd (so THREE 2nd rounders). That's the one I'd like the most. Move down, get an extra 2nd, grab Hockenson, get a DT and WR in the 2nd, then move back into the 2nd and grab another position of need, whether that be LB, pass rusher, RB or even CB.
