  1. I agree, it should be on a Saturday. And Superbowl Saturday would still alliterate. Failing that they should switch Saturday and Sunday around, so Sunday would be on the Saturday and Saturday would be on the Sunday, so Monday would become the Sunday and everyone would get the day off anyway. How about this as a solution: at the age of 16 you register which team you support. If that team wins the Superbowl you get the Monday off. It'd be a bit like how some companies let their employees have their birthdays off. I also propose that the government signs off on this as soon as Tom Brady retires.
  2. I don't see either of these teams beating the Pats
  3. The only mom I'd trade for is AJ McCarron's
  4. One of the podcasts I used to listen to would always talk about The Hall of Very Good rather than the HOF, and there are a lot of players I think belong in there. As you say though, maybe when you see these guys as an adult it takes away some of the mystique.
  5. Someone like Mills I would keep for depth but no way would I keep him as a starter.
  6. I guess people like lots of points. Couple that with the new QBs that have entered the league and you've got a lot more interest overall. I'm excited about the new breed of QBs like Mahomes, Allen, Mayfield, Goff, Darnold etc. because I've grown tired of the old guard like Brady, Brees and Rodgers. The insane amount of points does annoy me, but I guess I'm just old. When I was first watching you probably had people who grew up in the 60s saying there was too much passing and points in the 80s. I totally get that times change, and I understand they have to protect players, but I wish they'd ease up on some of these penalties. A defensive struggle can be such an exciting thing to watch, especially come playoff time, but I guess most people now want to see offenses moving up and down the field with ease, especially when they're watching redzone and checking how their fantasy players are doing.
  7. "It rubs the lotion on its skin, otherwise it gets the hose again."
  8. I can definitely see him on the cover of Madden in a few years
  9. Well, the season is done. We've discussed every aspect of Allen's play. We've argued about whether we should have passed on him and taken Rosen. So as the Bills head into the offseason, sit back, crack open a beer, and relive the rookie's best moments of 2018:
  10. Great hit. Love it. I also still quite like Kiko. Loved him when he was a Bill. Yeah he's dirty, but he's old school and I like watching him play.
  11. Love the effort this team is giving considering they're 5-10 and out of the playoffs
  12. Oh yes! I don't care if we get a lower draft pick, I hope we destroy the *****!
  13. haha, at least Kyle can have a snap shot of him running in with Allen
  14. Come on Josh, go deep on the first play!
  15. If this offense gets to the goal line today they better give it to Williams and let him barrel one in like he did last year
  16. I haven't actually heard her before, except on the highlights of another game. Didn't realise they had female announcers and I thought "wow, this guy sounds really feminine". For a second I got my hopes up thinking Brady had retired and moved to the booth
  17. Kyle's last ever game. Doesn't it make you feel old when you remember these guys getting drafted and then calling it a day?
  18. A woman calling the game? A WOMAN? A LADY? DISGRACEFUL! We'll be giving them a vote next
  19. imagine if the Bills had tried to trade away EJ after his first year, how many people would have made a serious play for him? Now imagine if they tried to trade Josh after this season, I think it's a safe bet there would be a bunch of teams who'd love to have him. It's all in the eye test. EJ never looked like he was capable of great things, at best he looked like he was capable of being efficient. Josh has made his share of bad plays, no doubt, but there have been many times this season where you watch and think "this kid could be really special with more work and more talent around him". Even his body language when he's on the sideline talking to his teammates, he has the IT factor that good QBs need. I'd be very surprised and massively disappointed if he doesn't take things to the next level next season.
  20. Jesus, he had Foster there and yet another drop
  21. McCoy's style just doesn't fit this offense
  22. Oh well, here are Nathan Peterman's career highlights to cheer you all up
  23. Here we go. Just pass on every down. I want Allen to get 300 yards on these bastards
