  1. Not surprised. They say the NFL is a copycat league and that works for the media too. Not many of the 'experts' have the time to thoroughly research every team, so a lot tend to read what other have said and sort of base their opinions on that. Quite a few 'experts' have predicted the Bills to do well this year, and that's beginning to filter down to others now. I think by the time the season kicks off we'll be getting picked as a lot of peoples' surprise team of the year.
  2. Personally I'm still waiting for the Alliance of American Football to finish. The season is taking forever
  3. It's pre-season. It's MEANINGLESS. It's mostly scrubs fighting for a roster place. It's vanilla. And yet I am still getting an erection just thinking about it! Everything seemed to be going so well for the him at that moment. He was young, happy and carefree. Once he's playing in Vegas and has renounced the Lord, taken up cocaine and blown his wages on hookers, he'll surely look back on that day, shake his head and think 'what the f**k happened?'
  4. Can't believe that's 17 years ago. Jesus! Remember it so well - 3 TDs by Henry and then we lose on a kick off return in OT. I remember that especially well because fans were crying all through preseason saying the rushing game was garbage and Henry was terrible, then he went and had a great game and a probowl season
  5. I had us down for 10 or 11 wins but it's all dependant on having a relatively healthy o line. If it ends up as a patchwork unit then I think that run in of tough games will kill us
  6. "So, Terry, ever got a handjob off an Asian hooker?"
  7. Tasker reminds me of Uncle Junior after he lost his marbles. One day I expect them to have Jim Kelly on as a guest and Tasker will greet him with (long pause) "we used to play catch"
  8. A concussion already? Did he do it to himself wiping the sweat off his head?
  9. Those men wanted to have SEX with me!
  10. He's doing the voice over for the embedded series so he'll be spending time with them as part of that I'd guess. Plus it's smart to have him around. He was such a big leader up until the end of last season, so he presence will likely be missed. Getting him around the guys now and then will help ease some of that until other leaders step in.
  11. Good player. Smart. Uses his intelligence a lot. Good hands. Good range. Gets after the ball and wins contested catches. Drives a Mustang and rates Airwolf re runs as a guilty pleasure. I have no idea who this man is.
  12. I can't believe Kraft paid good money for her
  13. Removal man on the left: "Man, this is the shi**est statue of Dan Marino I've ever seen"
  14. I must be immature by going completely off training camp and trying to come up with Native American names for random Bills players. So far I have: Shady: Spoils With A Tweet Zay: Nude From A Window Vontae Davis: Leaves At The Half Davis may be gone but is never forgotten. Oh, and to bring us back on topic, I am currently Smiles At the Depth
  15. Love reading these threads at the end of a day with a cool beer. Great work to everyone who keeps those updates coming. As far as Allen forcing some stuff, it really doesn't bother me because I've always said that's who he is. I expect him to always have INTs, like Favre did (hopefully not quite as many as Favre). The key is whether he offsets the odd int with two or three TDs. He trusts his arm and has confidence in it, especially in the deep throws or when throwing across his body on the run. I hope they don't get in his head too much and make him cautious. Let him go out and rip it. If enough of them go for big gains/TDs then I don't give a ***** about him have more picks than Tyrod, even though the media seemed to love Tyrod purely because of his low int %. I like being aggressive, just don't turn into Peterman, Josh!
  16. Why is always so fun when it's happening to someone else?
  17. Jesus, I'm living in the dark ages. I still wash my ass in the sink
  18. True. Not everything is black and white either. A guy can love Florida or California or wherever during his down time, spending time at the beach and jumping in his pool, and still miss Buffalo. You love different things about different places. I think some Bills fans/Buffalo residents have an insecurity that comes from all the jokes about the city being boring etc. There are lots of former players who say they thought it'd be a dump before they went and then loved it once they put down roots, but they probably still felt happy when they went back to their hometowns or favourite vacation spots
  19. Watched all 4 episodes now. Really great stuff, makes you feel closer to the team in a funny way. The standout for me is really Josh Allen. I'm probably concentrating on his bits a little more because I want to see how he carries himself, but I love his demeanor and the way he is with his teammates. He has the aura of a natural leader, I just hope that follows through to the field. One bit that really caught my attention was the autograph session where the fan came up and said "I really hope you're the guy" and Allen just sort of carried on with what he was doing. He didn't say "yeah I hope so too" or anything like that. It was almost like he has this confidence that he is going to be the guy, so he doesn't need to say anything. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I've seen a hell of a lot of young QBs come through Buffalo since Jimbo retired and none of them seemed to have the same level of swagger and self confidence as him.
  20. Yeah, I never used to like Sal but I do now. I admire the way he stepped up and created a career for himself doing what he loves. He knows his stuff and is never too biased
  21. In a way I quite like this, purely from a tactical POV. As a coach deciding when to sit out certain players based on your opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Though I understand why a ticket holder would be pissed if they got one of the weeks when Allen wasn't playing.
