  1. We'll lose both in the regular season and take them in the playoffs
  2. I thought this was going to be another thread about his son
  3. I'm actually only half joking. It does sort of numb you to these stories of guys being charged with 'minor' things when guys like Hill are getting new multi million dollar deals just months removed from child abuse. The whole thing is a bit of a joke right now
  4. Well at least he's not a rapist
  5. I thought I had mono for a whole year once. Turned out I was just really bored
  6. LOL. This expression could apply to anything. He's like a cat. Bill, what do you think about rape? So, Bill, got anything to say about your owner paying for hand jobs? Yo, Billy Boy! It's Sidney from the Boston Times. 18 years since 9/11. Time fly, don't it, bro? What were you doing this time 18 years ago, dawg? Mr Belichick, we've just been informed your wife has applied for gender reassignment surgery.
  7. For anyone who doesn't want to click the link, here's the brief version: "Rape is bad, but losing Super Bowls is worse. We're keeping him."
  8. I'm sure Antonio Brown must be to blame for this
  9. I hope when Gase went home after the game, all ready for a hug off the wife, he found an empty house and a note on the fridge that simply said: "see how you ***** like it"
  10. Damn, I'm going to have to head back over to Gang Green again...
  11. I tend to think of the one where he was running to his right and threw one towards the endzone that should have been picked off. I should clarify what I meant in my post. I don't so much mean bad throws as bone headed throws. Like the preseason one and a few from last year, the ones where you think why they hell did he even try that. But it goes back to my Favre comparison. He had maybe more boneheaded throws than any successful QB I've ever seen (Elway had a lot too) but it was just because he had so much faith in his arm. And also because he wouldn't lose confidence and would come right back on the next drive and make a spectacular play. I see elements of that in Allen, so I'm OK with the occasional head scratcher because if he tried to eliminate that part of his game I think it would negatively affect some of the good parts as well
  12. As I've said 100 times, Allen will make errant throws every game. So long as he offsets a bad int in a game with 2 or 3 td passes, who gives a *****?
  13. First play I would line Singletary up in the backfield and run a play action and get Josh to rip it down the field to Brown or Foster
  14. "That's the beauty of being head coach, I can do what I want" He said the same thing to his wife after she gave birth
  15. I said in the game thread, I really liked seeing Allen getting up to the line early and then changing the play and seeing the shifting. Actually looked like something approaching a sophisticated offense.
  16. Was just reading this thread on another forum (so nice when fans of other teams covet your own players) https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/146716-ed-oliver-vs-q-williams/
  17. It's amazing how few of these experts are afraid to put their balls on the line and go against the grain.
  18. Yeah, Gore would be better late in a game when the other team's D is tired. That's how I thought they'd use him. They were probably playing it safe by giving the veteran the start and trying to ease the rookie in. I guess we can consider him eased in now

  20. Just had a read of Gang Green. The arrogance and certainty they would win during the week has been replaced by comments like this: "I’m done with the god forsaken ***** team. Goodbye." LOL. Seeya
  21. You could see Allen walking off and he kind of blew his cheeks as if to say "we dodged a bullet there". To me that first half was just a freak thing. There were some bad throws but the bounces were just not going our way. Plus it was week 1, very emotional, new line etc. You have to think they'll be far more in the groove next week and that ***** won't happen again. I've said repeatedly that Allen will always make the odd boneheaded play because he's like Favre in that respect, but they won;t be shut out for so long in games going forward and I also expect them to keep passing a lot in the first half because (I've also said this before) I think their gameplan this year will be to blow teams away in the first and then run it down their necks in the second half. Should be fun!
  22. The great thing is that Singletary hardly played so we get to be excited about what he'll do with significant carries
  23. Yeah, and maybe I'm just being paranoid, but he sounded a bit deflated. In the first half he was so animated. Maybe he had money on the Jets
