  1. Yeah, I'm not ready to join everyone dancing on KC's supposed grave. I love to see them lose and it'd be great if they were sub par this season but I've seen this stuff too many times. Remember when NE lost season openers and the football world would shout "the dynasty is over!" only for them to gradually improve as the season went on. The good thing is they have a very tough opening schedule so I'll be interested to see how they do in the next few weeks. I'd love to see them get beat up and find themselves in a deep hole, then see the whole season implode on them but I just don't believe it will happen. As Mahomes once famously said "I'll see it when I believe it".
  2. Yeah, he took his job seriously last season but he was still having fun as a rookie, enjoying the novelty factor. I get the feeling once he realized how brutal the NFL can be and how high the jump in talent level is from college, he knew in order to make a mark he needed to change his approach. Maybe it will amount to nothing but like you I'm really looking forward to seeing how he does.
  3. Keon really does seem all business this year. The jokey rookie we saw last year has vanished
  4. How long ago this seems
  5. If I was married to his wife I'd be up all night
  6. As someone who makes 99% of my income from stealing I have no issue with this.
  7. My wife owns a massage gun a bit like that, only the head is shaped like a zucchini and it's diesel powered. She keeps it in her underwear drawer
  8. They have played well on D but that was Saleh's D. New scheme now so it might not be as effective
  9. I have to say, this image of the stadium makes it look truly orgasmic. It's looking really stunning
  10. Noooooooooo! BIG_BAZOOKA_BOOBIES is gone? Oh never mind
  11. Ravens 30 bills 10 many turnovers by the Bills. Henry with some big runs, Jackson with some big plays. Meltdown at TBD. will be our worse loss of the season but we’ll get revenge in the playoffs again so I will have the last laugh mwah ha ha
  12. I could see the Chargers winning that division and the Chiefs being a wildcard. But I still think KC would go further in the playoffs
  13. Josh Allen wishes he was JP Losman
  14. It was actually a great game (apart from the final kick of course). A perfect game, zero turnovers. Two distinct styles of offense. Low scoring (which I like in big games) but still lots of big moments like Smith's safety, Lofton's big catch, the Giants' 3rd down conversions. If Norwood makes that FG it's a game you watch year after year during SB week, not just because of the Bills winning but because it was so damn good.
  15. I believe that's the Takeo Spikes memorial section
  16. I saw some of the game where Bosa played (or one of them, can't remember if he played in 2) and they seemed to be getting after the QB from what I remember. I'll be interested to see how they play Jackson. McD has been good at limiting the amount of rushing yards he gets in the past. I always see games like this in terms of the headlines after, and if the Ravens win and Jackson plays great you know it will be "Jackson played like he took the MVP snub personally" and all that crap
  17. I expect a loss here but I don't think it's terrible. I think the back end is vulnerable but in McD's scheme they're also quite disciplined and are usually good at taking away big plays. It'll be interesting to see if the Ravens try and run Henry down their throats or if they try and exploit the secondary and have Jackson slinging it a lot.
  18. In true glass is half empty Bills fan fashion I fully expect us to lose this so I will be over the moon if they win, especially with a much easier stretch to follow.
  19. I think it depends on how they start. If they get a few good wins early it could lead to one of those "no one believed in us" things where they start feeding off the momentum and it brings them together. If things go south early they could completely fall apart, then you'll have guys like Hill making even more of an a$s of himself talking trash on social media and trying to engineer a trade. For all Tua's faults they are a much better offense when he plays because he's so good with the timing and quick throws, so any chance they have to even be in playoff contention is dependant on him not missing time, which is a big if.
  20. You know what, part of me thought the same. Do they want him to go under the radar so people don’t see how good he is? Then another part of me thought they just want him focused. either way I’m excited to see him in week 1
  21. It's a weird one with Keon. I finally watched the latest Hard Knocks and was struck that through 4 episodes we've seen nothing of hi. I really thought he'd be the star of the show. I wonder why he hasn't been featured - is he so much about being all business that he wanted zero distractions? Also just watched Dawkins' interview on first things first and was shocked by how he talked about Keon. "I've never seen a jump from year 1 to year 2 that I've seen with him", "the rest of the league is going to be shocked". I watched his off season training video and did get excited about this year, hope he can deliver somewhat on what Dawkins was saying. What he lacks in speed he can make up for in strength with those contested catches, and it'd be great to see him start to be a dominant player that draws attention away fro the rest of the wideouts and allows them to make their own fair share of plays. As to the question, I don't think superstar but do think we'll be very happy and will see him as well worth his draft position.
  22. Reminds me of when they signed Reggie back in the day. Jerry probably didn’t like Parsons getting so much attention off the field with his podcast and all, taking the attention away from himself
  23. Miami's look like the wimpy kid at school whose mother dresses him, then one day he tries to look tough by coming in wearing a leather jacket
  24. I actually quite like them as something to wear once, kind of like the leather G-string I got for my wedding night. The start of that video made me think I was watching a beer commercial
  25. WGR was talking about Coleman yesterday, how if he can become a WR that has to be doubled regularly that will free up so much more the offense can do. An obvious point but very true. A lot hinges on his second year leap. Bosa has been downplayed by us fans because of his injury history. The main thing is getting into the playoffs with him healthy. If he has a nagging injury in mid season and misses a few games, while not ideal, isn't the deal breaker. Having him healthy in the playoffs is key. Because we need him to cause mayhem in the standard Chiefs rematch. Same with Hairston. It sucks that he's missed so much time and who knows if he'll crack the starting lineup this season, but if he's healthy at season's end he will get playing time in the playoffs and that is where he could be hitting his stride as a rookie. His speed could really make a difference against someone like Worthy in the playoffs. Also, the additions to the defensive line could take the team up a notch, if they're able to get pressure without blitzing it'll mean a lot less of those annoying 3rd down conversions that drive me crazy every year. It's all what ifs but potentially could be well above last season. At the least I think they'll probably be pretty much the same
