  1. If my hate for the Pats was people, I'd be China
  2. Jesus, Henry is a BEAST
  3. 6th FG for the Broncs. Texans coming back
  4. I like the cartoons of the players that Fox flash up when someone scores
  5. Seeing the Pats getting cut up by the Broncos is WONDERFUL. So much of sports is psychological, and the Pats still hold an edge in the league because of their dominance in the last 20 years. A loss to a team like the Broncos to send them to 2-3 would go a long way to breaking it. "He's not a machine! He's a man!"
  6. Wow I must be seeing things, Cam jumped into the pile after his own fumble
  7. Yeah. This season has been weird. I missed most of what's happened so far, then walk in to see NE losing to the Broncos and the Bengals beating the Colts comfortably. Things are so unpredictable. Not a good time to be placing bets
  8. What a strange hobby for a guy to have
  9. My dog just took a dump and I swear it fell in the shape of an L. I'd better take a picture and tweet it!
  10. I imagine a scene where he goes to place his order and the guy behind the counter says "meatballs again this week coach?" And Belichick shakes his head and says "we're on to the chicken salad"
  11. Reporter: Are you interested in Bell? McDermott: claps enthusiastically
  12. That's actually the happiest I've ever seen him. He stole that sandwich from a hungry child
  13. I ***** hate the Pats. They always have to jump in to try and ruin our fun. I feel like if I ever got my wish of spending the night with Gal Gadot, I'd climb into bed, turn the bedside lamp on and Bill Belichick would be laying on top of her, a huge ***** eating grin on his face
  14. I've said this before, I used to hate the guy. Found him really annoying when he had that little show he'd do from his basement. But I've really grown to like him. He knows a lot and despite being an employee of the Bills doesn't come across as totally biased. I mean, he is biased, but he frames his statements in a way that doesn't make it seem so obvious. He's also nowhere near as arrogant as the dwarf Chris Brown. I don't like Sal's solo show as much but when he pops up on WGR with his 20 minute segments I think he's really good. He also seems to have got to where he is through sheer hard work, which I admire
  15. As I don't watch college ball much I didn't really know much about him when we drafted him, other than what people were saying. So I went and watched every one of his throws someone had helpfully put on YouTube. One of the things that made me an instant fan of his (aside from the arm strength etc.) was the way he was with his teammates. He was doing all the stuff you say, going around, getting in his guys faces, being a leader. I thought, that's exactly what this team needs.
  16. You loved this guy's posts last week. Way to flip flop!
  17. Were they weak when they can back from adversity to beat the Rams? I think Allen for one is anything but soft, physically or mentally. I agree the defense has played soft, but that seems to be a plague in the league this year. In fact the Titans were one of the toughest teams I've seen play this year. They had an old school element about them that will probably see them go far because so many other teams will struggle to be as physical as them. If I was McD I'd tell the players that was a good precursor to the Pats games because they'll probably use similar defensive techniques to confuse the Allen
  18. Monday night, 1991. Undefeated 5-0 Bills got destroyed by the Chiefs 33-6. I'm calling this our Chiefs game (hoping next week's Chiefs game isn't the Chiefs game...) and if we see the Titans again in the playoffs we'll be out for sweet revenge. To be fair to the Bills, this was a tough prep week for them with all the uncertainty, plus the injuries. They also were possibly overconfident after their hot start. This can either serve as the start of a downward spiral or a wake-up call. Hopefully it's the latter. Now it's all about Mahomes and the Chiefs. If they get blown out again then the wheels will be off the bandwagon but if they play a great game and come out with a win then this will be put down as an anomaly. I do think Josh looked rattled, like he was shocked the offense wasn't having its way and then started forcing things because he felt he had to make a play. He seems smart and able to learn from his experiences so hopefully that's what he does with this
  19. Guess this is over. Though Allen did do a Jim Kelly and take him down
  20. Exactly what I thought, he was hanging off his back
  21. Funny, just realised I've had all the side effects mentioned in the Opdivo commercial during this game so far
  22. Jesus, they're getting all the breaks right now
