It’s easy to laugh at guys like this who have fathers who are way more talented than they’ll ever be but man it must be tough. yes you have privilege and cash which I’d love but everything you do is compared to pops, every a achievement is at least in some way attributed to daddy and his money or contacts. I think it’d be a nightmare. Neon was always a d*ck but he grew up poor and was a truly great player, easily one of the top CBs we ever saw, and junior knows he can’t even stick with a team let alone reach his dad’s heights. I think him throwing punches last night was him trying to be like dad (remember the incident with Rison). If he can’t display his fathers talent at least he can try and replicate the attitude and even that feels cheap and second hand

Why did Buechele start and play the entire game?

Mike White is the key to our Super Bowl hopes, why would you possibly risk him getting hurt? -
I just came here to rave about this kid. Never want to overreact to preseason but for a rookie he's been really impressive. Always seems to be in the QB's face getting his hands up. Also some impressive chases, not giving up on the play and has helped out on a couple open field tackles

McDermott - "Still looking for that other safety"

Hmm this sounds like reverse psychology, like when the wife says “oh I’m so tired, I wish someone else would cook dinner tonight”. Luckily for me I’m completely selfish and always pick this moment to pretend I’m busy thinking about Josh Allen -

I agree. Maybe it's because we already 'know' the players so well but it does feel a bit going through the motions. I mean I'll happily watch it because it's the Bills but I have to say I prefer the embedded episodes. That's what Hard Knocks was always about for me, seeing fringe guys trying to make it. Seeing where they live, their relationships, how hard it is to make it in the NFL, all the work they put in even though the odds are stacked against them. I think it helps when it's a team you don't know much about For us we kind of know which guys have a little chance of making an impact, but for fans of another team who only know Josh Allen and guys like Cook they'll be a bit more intrigued by a guy like Hamler

Hey, I laughed my a$$ off at the guy who had the affair with my wife

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
RobbRiddick replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to say he'll be a great one but look back to the posts from the pre season of Bernard's second year and you'll see people calling him a bust and a waste of a pick. And that was his second season. Some people are more premature than me on my wedding night -
Just Josh being a dude, iykyk (I didn’t, had to look it up)

The many expressions of James Cook: "James, sorry we can't extend you right now" "Okay, 4 years, 40 million. Happy?" "Land ahoy!!!" -

Damn. I was kinda enjoying the soap opera. It was like Dynasty only with smaller shoulder pads -

I fully expected them to start him on IR. Makes sense really to help them juggle the roster around and give themselves extra space for other guys short term. Unfortunately he can't practice on the field with the guys until he's designated to return (as I understand it) so it'll be a long while before we see him play in a game. But looking at the glass half full, maybe that's not so bad. If he can be pushing for a starting job later in the season and there isn't a tonne of film on him he might hit his stride come playoff time. I'm still dreaming of him picking off Mahomes as the Chiefs drive for the winning score at the end of a playoff game.

Weird, when I eat a Snickers in bed my wife turns into Josh Allen

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
RobbRiddick replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a lot of effort for a preseason game. Someone needs to ask him if we win the Super Bowl in the next decade -
I wish Desmond Watson played for us. Imagine that fat jokes, imagine him standing next to Kincaid? He’d make him look like a Buffalo wing bone

I'd like to donate this one of my wife

So it should be clear we won’t get there rushing 4
RobbRiddick replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall
So after one preseason game it’s clear we won’t get pressure with 4 all season? Coleman didn’t get a big play, clearly he’ll disappoint this year.- 111 replies

Damn the negativity is tough to read and really brings home how bad we are. I read the Jets board earlier and they’re over the moon with how their offense and defense looked yesterday. Lord, why can’t we be as good as the Jets?
