Who's hating him? I'm predicting how the narrative will go in Cleveland this season if they're bad. I don't watch college ball so have no idea how good he may or may not be. But I will say the way he's been painted as a victim is kind of crazy.

You can almost see the season's script for the Browns already. If they're bad early on everyone will be cheering for Sanders. If he turns out to play like crap when he does finally start his dad and fanboys will all be saying the coaches aren't using him correctly and not playing to his strengths. After the season the coaching staff and FO will get fired and Sanders will become head coach.

Yes, a bit early but wondered which games everyone else is looking forward to seeing before the Bills do battle? I'll be keeping a close eye on the rest of the AFC east teams in the early games, especially Miami. I really hope they're as bad as lots of people are predicting. I don't think they'll be anywhere near as bad but hope I'm wrong. Later I'm looking forward to Packers/Lions. No dog in the fight, just hoping for a great game

It’s a pity that the ‘journalists’ who get the most attention these days are the ones with the wildest takes. Stephen A, nick wright and all those other idiots who spend their time screaming on YouTube and twitter. one of my favorite guys on TV is Cosell and he doesn’t seem as popular as he should be because he doesn’t shout or scream and always emphasises he’s only going by the tape. People don’t want that these days. They don’t want films that focus on character and plot, they want cgi marvel porn with a different building exploding every 3 seconds. (Jesus do I sound like my grandpa)

Yeah, I'm not ready to join everyone dancing on KC's supposed grave. I love to see them lose and it'd be great if they were sub par this season but I've seen this stuff too many times. Remember when NE lost season openers and the football world would shout "the dynasty is over!" only for them to gradually improve as the season went on. The good thing is they have a very tough opening schedule so I'll be interested to see how they do in the next few weeks. I'd love to see them get beat up and find themselves in a deep hole, then see the whole season implode on them but I just don't believe it will happen. As Mahomes once famously said "I'll see it when I believe it".

Yeah, he took his job seriously last season but he was still having fun as a rookie, enjoying the novelty factor. I get the feeling once he realized how brutal the NFL can be and how high the jump in talent level is from college, he knew in order to make a mark he needed to change his approach. Maybe it will amount to nothing but like you I'm really looking forward to seeing how he does.
