That's ballsy decision with Falcons still in playoff hunt.
This ensures that Cousins won't have another employer in the NFL.
I bet there’s at least one thread on the jets forum asking if they should go after him in the off season

There is a national narrative that Mahomes' high ankle is the just same injury he suffered vs. Jags in divisional two years ago, a game to which he returned. It is not. This injury is more serious. And yet, the Chiefs are reluctant to announce they'll sit Mahomes. They will maintain their pursuit of the one-seed is the reason.
But the real reason the Chiefs fear sitting Mahomes is exposing to the league precisely what they are without him. KC has developed a mystique in its dynasty. This mystique keeps them atop power rankings. With the preponderance of one-score games won, this mystique gives the impression that KC pours out just enough rocket sauce to win...but has vast stores of it when needed. We hear how great the team is, with Mahomes having a rather low to middling season, yet so many wins.
We constantly hear how the Bills are carried by JA17 and would be mediocre or less without him. Well, that's correct as it's a QB league.
I submit KC has been carried by Mahomes and his absence will demonstrate how average the team actually is. And that's the last thing the mystique-riding Chefs want to become public.
A Buffalo Bills Public Service Announcement
Hmm, see, I think differently on this. I think they'll still be very good with Wentz in there. Just like when Mahomes got knocked out of a game in the playoffs (against the Browns?) and Henne went in and immediately led them 90 yards up the field for the TD. Mahomes couldn't wait to get back in and part of me thought it was because he didn't want people to see their offense still humming without his genius on the field.
I'm not saying they'll be as good if he misses time but I think they'll be very close to what they've been the past two seasons

It's weird how that game was so similar to last week, but kinda opposite? Bills kept taking 17 point leads, then losing them. Whatever, happy for the win
Yeah, games like that it's down to who gets the quick start. It's like having a break in tennis, just gives you that cushion and allows you to keep your nose in front. The punt block last week really screwed them because they were playing catchup the whole time

I have no idea why Detroit handed us the momentum back. Thanks guys!
All 3 RBs get a TD
Yeah, I won't criticise campbell for the onside but at least do a surprise onside. Can you still do those? I have no idea because I haven't seen anyone do one for so long.
But thanks for giving Josh a super short field to add another TD to his MVP campaign haha

I hate that the offense basically has to score every drive for us to stand a chance. Puts way too much pressure on the offensive side of the ball to know they have to be perfect.
This defense's ablity to allow 3rd and long conversions never fails to amaze me

Come on jets, get yourself a worse draft pick. Aaron doesnt want them to get a QB

I hope Belinda gets an int today

Well, well, well, when asked on X (Twitter) Diggs says Josh should win the MVP:
Fan: Hows you healing? Think Josh is gonna get MVP this year?
Diggs: On schedule… he should shorty balling fr [for real]
Of note, Diggs does not offer a quoatable line ("Yes, Josh should win the MVP") but thats' what he means. The fact that I couldn't find a thread on this suggests that his line "he should shorty balling fr" was missed by many.
Interesting. So Diggs acknowledges that Josh is indeed amazing without him now. Thanks for translating the fr part but I’m so old and confused there are other bits that I don’t understand. The shorty bit mainly. Is the guy he’s replying to named shorty? Like “yes, Shorty, he should”.
was it his ironic nickname for Josh? Or was it a typo and he meant to say shortly?

Last week I called out Josh Allen's name during relations with my wife.
I hope he doesn't think I'm cheating on him.
