It's upside down. Our logo is literally laying on its back. Isn't that a bad omen?

So disappointed in the content of this thread. I read the title and hoped it would be the head of Tom Brady

Rousseau should like it

It is starting to sound like sour grapes now, and it does illustrate the effect the Pats have on our psyche. I include myself in that. So many years of beat downs have really screwed up our ability to look at them logically. I mean you just know the first flag that gets thrown against us on Monday night, even if it's legit, we'll all be screaming about Kraft paying off the refs, or the NFL wanting to see the Pats in the SB against Brady. And just typing that I've convinced myself that it's actually true and now I hate the Pats even more. See what I mean?

This is a very good question and one I've been thinking about recently. We all know the misery of watching this team during the drought. Every week I'd be excited for the game, then 5 minutes in I'd be wondering why I was wasting my life when I could have been picking the cheese out from between my toes. Then Allen came along and I was interested again. Then last season happened and it became more than fun, I was hogging wild on so much of the media stuff, listening to what other fans had to say. It wasn't just that we were playing well but we were exciting and had a shiny new QB so many other teams were envious of. This season that feeling peaked with the KC game. I was wired after that game. Since then they've begun to sway back the other way. It's not just the losing but the way they've been playing generally. Penalties, mistakes, sloppy execution. That's the stuff I associate with the drought and I think it's triggered me to have those feelings creeping in again. Most teams have played the same way this season (look at the Ravens, despite their record). But I don't fixate on the other teams as much so I don't notice it as much with them.

I approach the Bills games in the same way as I approach sex with my wife, it's sometimes painful but worth it for those times when it puts a smile on my face (it also helps to have a few beers before kickoff)

With this game being in Buffalo, on a Monday night, the fans are going to be insane and the place will be jumping. If the team isn't more stoked than they've been in any game this year (barring possibly the KC game) then there's something wrong with them. I hope they come out with some runs and some short dump offs for Allen, just to calm him a bit because he's the one position you don't want too pumped and it's a given that he will be. This is the sort of game that if we win the toss I hope we don't defer and try to take the opening drive for a quick TD. Last thing I want is the Pats doing what Indy did and marching on us with a methodical drive, leaving Allen to get impatient and force something early.

Glad to see the Pats turned over the Titans. The media will be fighting over Mac's schlong this week and predicting a comfortable win against the Bills. The Bills can make a statement now by beating these guys. If they get beat up by this Pats team then they don't deserve to win the division and I'll have no complaints.

Around the NFL This Sunday 11/28 (Bills mini-bye)
RobbRiddick replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be honest it's more about the media. I know some people don't care what the media thinks, but I hate all the ball washing they do with the Pats. I want them to beat the Titans with ease so it's non-stop Pats love for the full week. Then I would love it if we beat them up in front of a national audience, with Josh playing a sublime game. -

I want NE to win because I want them overconfident when we play and I want the media riding them all week, talking about their genius coach and Brady-like rookie QB. I'd like the Bills to have that disrespected feeling going into Monday night -
Bills v. Saints Game Day Thread First Half - 11/25/21

Sadly this looks like two bad teams trying to lose the game. The going down has made me mad. If that's a bad knee injury we're ***** anyway -

11/25/21 Thanksgiving Gameday Bills at Saints Pregame Thread
RobbRiddick replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's naive and a bit desperate to expect anything much of Stevenson tonight but I still hope they just tell him to put his foot down early, go deep and get Josh to launch a monster down the field. Even if it isn't caught but he comes close to it it'll add that bit of fear for the defense for the rest of the game and might open up some other stuff underneath -

The added pressure of the.mvp talk and huge contract is part of that. I'm assuming he has a sports shrink, if not he should get one, if so he should think about trading in for a new one
