Im sure Keon will put up numbers. He has Josh Allen and Josh Allen has barely anyone else to throw to.

But man... Coleman, Samuel and Shakir. If our aim at the start of the offseason was to upgrade the receiving corps we have gone a funny way about it.

It doesn't look too exciting on paper but we have Kincaid of course who I think by season's end had become Josh's favorite target. He should be far better in year 2. Also think we'll have more throws to RBs this season.

I'm not massively worried but I would like to see a field stretcher get added today at some point, just someone capable of taking the top off and keeping the defense honest

  2. Just read some of the initial reaction to Bernard.

Marino hated the pick. A solid D. Who is this guy? Should have been a 6th rounder. What are they playing at? Garbage etc.

This is why knee jerk over reactions to draft picks are always to be taken with a pinch of salt. It's fun though!

Never forget Coleman's fastest-ever combine gauntlet top speed (and how damned straight and crisp he ran it while snagging fastballs away from his frame). Puka Nacua vibes (owner of the 2nd fastest gauntlet top speed). I was afraid of his contested-catch red flags early in the process. His lack of separation. But even before his sneaky good, under-the-radar combine, I was starting to see something special in his play. Like he's potentially a better prospect than a Q. Johnston or an N'Keal Harry...

Yeah, I watched his gauntlet and it's very impressive how fast he moves in it and how the ball seems to stick in his mitts. All the stuff about separation is worrying,  I won't lie, but I do like his pure catching ability, size and strength, should be a good red zone target who can go up for jump balls against physical dbs

Kinda funny how two posters that do a lot of draft talk Gunner and Happy both were terribly wrong

Another reminder why we are fans 😂

Well they're no more wrong than the guys on TV, probably right the same amount too. I appreciate their knowledge for those of us who don't watch college ball.

I was listening to the First Draft podcast from the 2018 draft the other day. So funny hearing the guys talk about Rosen being a franchise QB. Though to be fair in their mock Kiper did have Josh Allen going number 1 to the Browns. Probably Kiper's greatest ever prediction

It's "cherry picked to say he had a worse TD-int ratio, less yards, less YPG, less passing TDs, More INTs worse passer rating, worse QBR in every season since 2020?

I think they call that picking the whole tree my man. I'm not saying he's bad, by any stretch. He's still an elite top 2-4 QB. I'm just saying there's extremely little to show that he's actively getting better each year.

This is genius. He's elite top 2-4 (meaning you think there's an argument for him to be top two), yet he's not showing signs of getting better. Better than 2 is 1 I think. So the only way Allen can be better in your eyes is to be the very best in the league.

I can live with him being number 2 but then I've always been an easy lay

  6. I love the idea of going WR in round 1 and again in round 4. If possible I'd like Beane to package some picks and get into the 3rd round for another recover instead of waiting until rd 4. I'm also willing to bet if this happens the 2nd WR selected will end up having a better career than the rd 1 guy.
