Relax!
Kelce's 35 this season and he already saw his numbers taper off in yards, YPR, and TDs.
Gonzalez began falling off at 33. Expect Kelce's numbers to always be good, but his days of carrying that offense are over and will only deteriorate further.
I'd be more worried about Rice now with a season under his belt and notable improvement in the 2nd half last season, and now with the addition of worthy and with Marquise Brown now in the mix catching passes from Mahomes and not Jackson.
That's a handful for any defense, and if Pacheco's on his game it's even worse.
They should be back to a #1 offense this season with Reid running their show.
Unpopular opinion in the NFL world where Mahomes is God but when Kelce was struggling earlier in the season Mahomes looked ordinary. The talking heads kept saying "Mahomes has regressed because he's having to be superman" to which I thought "Allen has to be superman every season, every week and he's better at it than Mahomes".
Then as the playoffs grew closer Reid schemed Kelce open more and Mahomes suddenly looked like the Mahomes of old. Look at the TD against the Bills in the playoffs, Kelce was so wide open Zach Wilson could have hit him in stride, then after he scored the announcers immediately started praising Mahomes and his genius.

Hopefully his age catches up with him this year and his legs fall off. Then his billionaire husband is so shocked his vocal chords fall out which causes every Swifty in the world to spontaneously combust.
Christ, I hope we can win the SB at some point so I can stop being so bitter

I don’t have access to a tiny fraction of the data Beane does. I run IVF labs. It would be like having folks here tell me I’m wrong about what embryo to transfer when they haven’t even had high school biology.
What an amazing job. Wish I was smart enough to do something like that. I'm guessing you don't just pour the 'seed' on the embryo with a turkey baster and then go for a coffee?

Beane and McDermott signing the son of a guy they like? Well I never. Wait until Nate Peterman has kids old enough to be drafted.....
Peterman probably has sex with his wife and somehow manages to get the lady next door pregnant

No double dip on a WR. I guess they like Shorter more than we thought.
Shorter is an interesting one. 90% of me thinks he does nothing and doesn't even make the team (maybe the PS) but then another part of me dreams that they've seen him in practice and think he can surprise everyone

Do we get a first round comp pick for supporting the international programme???

Not long until the annual fun of the UDFA frenzy.
Who will be this year's camp fave we all call to make the team?

Well you knew Beane wouldn't get through a draft without a CB
With the way these guys develop them I'm guessing he starts by mid season

Good value. Narrow wingspan but quick feet and agility for a man that size. A road grader type - definitely better in run blocking than in pass blocking. Should provide excellent depth due to ability and experience of playing multiple positions on the line.
Oh sorry, I thought this was Tyron Grable. Never heard of this guy

Just watched his highlights.
His name is pronounced You - Low - Fo - Shiow. Fantastic. I hope he yells that in Tua's face if he sacks him

I predict whoever KC chooses, no matter the position, there will be people complaining that it's amazing and we should have leapfrogged them to get said player

We won 6 in a row with Diggs doing nothing and Davis having multiple games of 0-0 0yds. But now we're in a down year because we didnt draft a second WR in the 5th round.
I do somewhat agree but one question is how much did Diggs' presence help create opportunities and space for those other guys? It'll be interesting to see how Diggs being gone effects how defenses play us

This Will Be The Make Or Break Year For This Regime

I honestly think they're safe this year, even if the team went 7-10 or 6-11.
I do think this off season could be the defining one in terms of how the fans see Beane. If the team disappoints massively next season and the WRs don't produce, this past draft will really come back to haunt him. Especially if one or both of the Xaviers turn out to have a great season, not to mention if any of the other guys we ignored with that second 2nd rounder look good as rookies too.
But even if they do end up with a losing record this year, I think Pegula will see it as Beane has already pitched it, as a transition year. So he'll definitely give the GM and coach another year at least to show they can get things back on track. Maybe someone like Brady will be the fall guy.
I'm optimistic though and have a feeling that without the Diggs distractions Josh will have a great year, maybe will even win that first MVP. Media narrative is a big thing in these situations, and the narrative going into the season will be "they haven't done enough to help Josh Allen", so if he goes out and puts up the kind of numbers he's been doing a while now, with maybe a few less INTs, I think people will see him as a miracle worker.
