  1. Jeez, he could have at least waited until halftime of the Rams game
  2. My wife often sleeps in the office. She calls me up and tells me she has a lot of work to do so she won't be home. Sometimes she sounds positively drunk with tiredness and I can always hear her boss, Greg, in the background, telling her to get off the phone. She seems to really love her job
  3. Doesn't matter how much they won, fan-wise I always feel superior because most of them aren't real fans, just glory hunters. I've always felt that way about them. That's why half of them followed Brady to Tampa
  4. I'll be looking forward to seeing captain cook set sail in the preseason. I agree though. I always look forward to the first game and after 5 minutes wonder why I gave a *****. A happy sign though that football is around the corner
  5. Got to do what he loved and get paid well for it for 40 years. Good on the guy.
  6. Imagine inheriting all that cash. I shouldn't be jealous, my dad once gave me his old table saw
  7. I get mine checked every other day. The guy who checks it isn't even a doctor but he has fat fingers and a calming voice
  8. Do they leave Josh's puke on the bowl so you can take a selfie next to it?
  9. Only good thing about ESPN is the 30 for 30 docs
  10. Is this like Brewster's Millions? Spend it by the deadline and you get five times that amount? None of the above?
  11. During the Jauron era I used to puke after every game, then I'd crap my pants during his press conference
  12. Poor Ray. For as far back as he could remember he always wanted to be an actor. Some say he was half Jewish, but it was just the good half. According to legend his family never received any mail for months. Finally his mother had to go and complain. He's up there now, high above, looking down on the helicopters for a change instead of them looking down at him. So long, Henry. Oh, and make sure you call 212-555-HAIR and say hi to Morrie. He was always good to you and you were always good to him, even when Jimmy was being an unconscionable ball breaker.
  13. To be fair to Wilson the offensive talent around him was truly terrible in that game. I know Josh was working with sh*t his rookie year but Wilson really had nothing. I could be wrong, have been many times, but from what I've seen of him and just the general way he carries himself, I think he's going to be a good QB. Maybe not worthy of the number 2 pick but I think he'll put up good numbers at least and will get a second contract with them. They're building that team the right way, basically trying to emulate the way Beane built his roster (they were even trying to trade for a proven WR like we did with Diggs). That doesn't equate to them having success but I wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson and the Jets take a major leap this year, and I think they'll finish above the Dolphins who are getting way more hype.
  14. Look back on this forum. Nearly everyone who watched the games saw it coming. The people who only watched highlights or looked at stats were the ones who still say he sucked for his first two years. It was pretty obvious by the end of year two (at least) that he was going to be great
  15. Ah, since I spelt it wrong we'll go with the first option
  16. No, they said he's eating nothing but muscles now
  17. Make their wives and girlfriend's play. Naked and in the mud. Actually I enjoyed some of the skills competitions this year. Seeing Mac Jones miss the target constantly was so funny. Come up with more of these and get rid of the game
  18. I like the idea of stopping the clock if a team kneels down. I guess we'd complain when our team is trying to run out the clock but it would definitely make it more exciting. Of course, some people might say the losing team should have conserved their time outs and that this takes away some of the strategy
  19. It does make me nervous having all the 'experts' picking us to win. But then, as someone pointed out here a while ago, it's not like everyone picking against us ever created some magic reverse jinx, so why should this? All I know is, if Allen can play 75% of how he was in the playoffs for a majority of the regular season, then elevate his play in the playoffs again, we'll be damned hard for anyone to beat
