What I get out of all the stuff they have said over the years about a new stadium, is that they don't want to build a new stadium.

Do you ever make a post where you are not taking a shot at others on the board?
Make your point and let it stand on its own without trying to draw attn to it with your drama
Pessimistic posters get shots taken at them all the time, told to go find another team yadda. So I dunno, maybe just ignore it if you don't like it.

I'd still take McDermott over Marrone. Once he described more than one job as his "dream job", I started seeing through his BS.
I think Marrone + Beane would yield more wins than the combo we have now. But' I guess we'll never know.

McDermott said, when asked if he regretted starting Peterman against the Ravens. "I felt like that was the right move and I'll take that to my grave."
The whole taking stuff to his grave thing bothers me to. I mean, c'mon, that's used when someone is trying too hard to convince.
I just don't like McDermott's style. Something about it just feels very wrong to me. I hate to say it but I liked Marrone's style better, even though he was a dinosaur as well.

Can we stop with this idiocy? Seriously.
I find these comments extremely offensive and if it was the other way around you wouldn't like it.
Stop!
How do I know that's not part of his culture drive? Are you saying with 100% certainty it is not? How would you know this?

I'm not sure any player shuffling/scheme redesign will solve the lack of talent issue. It could maybe help them lose by less than 44 pts, but it's not going to produce wins IMO.

Allen = zero interceptions.
It's allot of fun to play statistics with a small sample size.
It's becoming a trend for a lot of things in the echo chamber times we live in.

Stupid would be drafting another QB with a premium pick in 2019.

Enough with the /thread **** already.

They invested heavily to acquire Allen and they are sold on him.

That's just stupid. They did the same with EJ, then came along a guy like Wentz.
It's simply idiotic to not try to get the best QB possible even if that means drafting one in the first round in consecutive drafts. Doug Pederson won the SB with the help of red/yellow/green light real time analytics, something almost all other coaches would not do due to ego. The ego/coach knows best **** needs to stop IMO. If you suck this season and you get a chance to draft the best QB in the draft, unless Allen didn't shock the NFL world, you draft that damn QB.

The real scary thought is that he honestly believed that starting Nate was the right decision at the time. We may be screwed.
Yeah, all offseason, the whole competition. All that was blown to shreds in 1 qtr of NFL football. This is why I don't think much of McDermott as a HC.

Not necessarily. He had to have promised Daboll a certain degree of autonomy over the offense to get him to buy in and take the job.
I thought from Daboll's post-game presser, reading between the lines, he'd seen what he needed to see from Allen and wanted to go forward with him.
It could have been a combo of Daboll, Beane, and feedback from the team leadership council.
I sure hope McDermott isn't pushing for Peterman due to him being a fellow bible thumper. Everyone needs to be on the same page here...

That is the "Silver Lining", indeed.
Judging from McDermott's facial expressions and body language, that doesn't look at all as if that was the plan, or even a possibility that had been strongly considered.
If the loss had been by a smaller margin, and Peterman had more than a 0.0 rating, he probably could have started him 4 games.
IMO, the plan was to go the first 4 games with Peterman, then switch to Allen. Now Allen is thrown to some very nasty wolves.

The good thing about it is if Allen had started week one and didn't have a great game, a lot of people would be calling for Peterman. Now Allen can just play and we don't have deal with a good portion of the fan base calling for Peterman if Allen struggles early.
Yeah, this was discussed amongst family while watching the game on Sunday. Maybe this is why McDermott said starting Peterman was the right decision. But I think that's giving him way too much credit. He might be a young coach, but he strikes me as a dinosaur who's not going to make it past 3-4 years as a head coach..

I just don't like McDermott...
Starting Peterman has totally blown up in his face twice and he doesn't want to answer any questions about it without serious 'tude.
If he really thought that was the best decision for his team, he sucks as a head coach IMO.

Allen will be ruined by this coaching staff.

Last year it was they have to get a QB; everything else was immaterial.
Yeah but, Darnold was the QB to get, or even Rosen, not Allen... All that draft capital they obtained by getting rid of guys like Sammy Watkins, and the Jets moved ahead an took the franchise QB, ouch!

In fairness, if you are this frustrated maybe take a break from the team for a while? It's going to probably get a lot worse before it gets better.
How can you seriously suggest this? What fan of a sports team takes a break? That is really **** advice IMO.
If you're not a Kool-Aid drinker take a break from the team? wat?

The only reason not to play Allen is if you fear injury behind this OL. If his confidence get shattered and he is "ruined", he's not a franchise guy anyways.

Ended the 17 year playoff drought.....What have you done for me lately?
Dalton ended that drought
But no, the Bills never go all the way on anything, so I don't expect them to actually get the 1st overall. Bills will still probably get 4-5 wins, which is not #1 overall territory.

It will take several years. Don’t see this regime making it through. The Jets seem way ahed of us and they have a 100 mil in cap space next year.
Yeah, Beane fell asleep while counting all his draft capital, the Jets move up to #3 will ultimately cost him his job.
-
Jets got the franchise QB of the draft.
Predict Josh Allen's stats vs LA.
