  1. What a dumb thread.   Are western NYers that out of touch?  BIlls games are SUPER cheap.  I got 2 50 yard line seats last year about 20 rows up for the Ten game.   Cost me a total of $375.   I live in Houston and those tickets here would cost about $1500 for the pair.

And people won't switch teams, they'll just watch the games on tv which is what 95% of people do anyways.

Geez, we need the games to start so people stop posting stupid s--t.

  2. I suspect you may see Teller start at LG next week.   Spain won't play.   They should also play Bates at center again.

These 2 guys should play the whole game at these positions.   These 2 positions worry me more than any where else.  1 more concussion and Mitch is likely done.  Feliciano is very average and Bodine will be gone.  Lets see how good Bates can be a center.   I fear Spain being very marginal in pass protection and could be benched at some point during the year.   Teller needs to be ready to step up.

  3. 7 receivers make the team.  Williams will make the roster, but another receiver will not be sacrificed to do so (Foster and McKenzie make it too).  It will come from another position.

Example: I see them only keeping 3 running backs.   McCoy, Gore, & Singletary.     Wade to PS.   All others will be cut.   Dimarco is a wild card too and i didn't count him in the RB category.

  4. Three high-profile quarterbacks weren’t members of the NFLPA when TSB was being made, so they couldn’t be included in the game; however, Tecmo knew of their real-life ability and fan popularity, so they cleverly came up with a way to include them anyway. Randall Cunningham is listed as QB Eagles, Jim Kelly is listed as QB Bills, and Bernie Kosar is listed as QB Browns.

Interestingly, Kosar appears in Tecmo Bowl, but not TSB. Also, Eric Dickerson is in Tecmo Bowl listed with the truncated name “Dicker,” but when TSB was being made he had a gripe with the NFLPA about not getting enough cash for his likeness, so he’s not in TSB. It is unknown why Tecmo didn’t apply a generic name such as RB Colts for Dickerson, like they did with the above trio of QBs. Hilariously, according to dictionary.com, “dicker” means “to deal, swap, or trade with petty bargaining.”

Side note:  The number of star-studded clubs with which you could pile up points made it difficult to choose just one. TSB project manager Hidehisa Yamaguchi, who also worked as a programmer on Tecmo Bowl, said via email that the best all-around squad was a certain perennial Super Bowl runner-up. Don Beebe, a speedy receiver on those loaded Bills teams of the ’90s, told me that when his brothers squared off in Tecmo Super Bowl, they bickered over who’d get to pick Buffalo.

  6. LT - Little (First Rd Pick - I'm not drafting someone who projects better as a guard in the 1st Rd such as Jonah Williams)

    LG - Dawkins

C - Paradis (Free Agent - Overpay and get back stability)

    RG - Teller

RT - D. Williams (Free Agent)

The above line has a chance to be really good and stay together for awhile.

You make a good point.  The team sucks.

Oh and i left out a big one.   No ground game.  The OL and RBs suck too.   Defense doesn't have to stay honest on play action, etc.

I'm not judging the coaching staff (Except Crossman - Fire his ass) and Beane based on this year. It was all about the QB this year and so far, I think they made the right decision and are going in the right direction.  I like their decisive approach in cutting Benjamin, benching Clay, etc.  It takes time to clean up a shatshow.  Next year at this time will be much better time to judge.   Good teams and winning cultures that sustain are not built overnight.  If you want to blame anyone for fan misery this year, blame Pegula for delaying the proper way to do things by 2 years by hiring Rex (band aid approach that rarely works and is never sustainable long term).

We do?  You declaring Allen as the Franchise QB?  I dont see this.  Must be blind.

Yes i do.   Watch his throws.   He's playing with the JV team.   F that - Jr High team.   I see bad routes, fumbles, drops, etc.

He's making the right reads, using his eyes to move the defense, and placing the ball where only his receivers can get it.  Does he still make the occasional bonehead rookie throw? Of course.  If you can't see this, not sure what to tell you.
