  1. I don't think throwing is the part of Jackson's game that will trouble the Bills. By the way maybe we should sign Colin K to work with the scout team for the week.
  2. If John Brown is practicing with the scout team this week, we have a problem
  3. I wonder if the Bills ought to have Wade run the scout team this week. It would be a good way to get the defense accustomed to a very fast and elusive QB as they prepare for Lamar Jackson.
  4. This guy is available
  5. Trade the kids for a kicker
  6. I may be wrong but I don't think the Bills have a big following in Ireland
  7. I'm in Israel and I watch all the games on nflgamepass.com Cyprus has a lot of young tourists and a fair number of sports bars but probably catering more to English Premier League than NFL. Considering that the game is Thursday night at 11:30 PM local time, there's probably no other live sports action and a good sports bar will try to find the game if she requests.
  8. You're one of the few geezers left on this board. I had a case with Dan when he was practicing law in Buffalo in the 1980s. One day I said to him "Dan, why does your name sound familiar to me?" He responded "I used to be the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills." Talk about a conversation stopper!
  9. Anyone know anything about the two OTs on the practice squad?
  10. I think this is my favorite combination for away games, and the opposite (blue on white) for home games. Everything else looks like pajamas.
  11. Anyone up for a trade? Haushka for Vinatieri, straight up. Each team pays the airfare for their guy.
  12. It's the socks, I didn't have them on.
  13. For those of you who think it wasn't a weird game... "The Bills’ defense stopped the Browns on six consecutive plays and eight snaps, including two penalties, from the 2-yard line or closer. Seven of those snaps were from the 1. In doing so, Cleveland became the first NFL team in 26 years to run six plays from an opponent’s 2-yard line or closer on a possession without scoring, according to ESPN, which cited the Elias Sports Bureau." I wonder when the last time was that this happened and the team making the goal line stand also got a safety and still lost? When was the last time you saw a 48 yard PAT attempt? When was the last time you saw an "incomplete pass" that traveled maybe an inch?
  14. You don't think it was a weird game?
  15. I had a bad feeling about this game
  16. Should have faked the FG and had Bojo run for the first down
  17. I've got a soft spot for old Lofton. He's all over the map but it was fun listening to him.
  18. Move them to the AFC East then move the Bills to the AFC North with natural rivals Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Cincinnati can move to the west where they'd play against KC.
  19. Did Phil Dawson kill us more than 1 game, or is it just a recurring nightmare of his two long wind-blown FGs in the 8-0 game?
  20. My biggest worry is the ghost of Ralph. We're talking supernatural stuff here.
  21. I remember the 8-0 snow game where Moorman had a snap go flying over his head and he kicked it out the back of the end zone for a safety. First 8-0 game in the NFL since something like 1927. I remember the 6-3 game where Derek Anderson won the game for the Browns by completing 2 passes all afternoon for all of 23 yards. Bleacher Report called that the "worst game ever" https://bleacherreport.com/articles/270428-worst-game-ever-buffalo-vs-cleveland-review Weird stuff happens against the Browns. I'm already losing sleep over it.
  22. There was no reason to text security. It was just obnoxious. In America, at least until the next election, people have a right to say what they want. And I have a right to complain about it.
  23. My visit to the Ralph for the Eagles game was a challenge. Never mind the 40 mph winds, the rain, the massive lines at the refreshment stands (for which I missed a Bills TD) or the fact that the Bills got crushed. The place was infested with Eagles fans. And I have to say that these were some of the most obnoxious fans I've ever seen. I expect them to celebrate when their team does well but they were constantly sticking it in our faces and doing their level best to remove any remaining enjoyment from the outing for Bills fans. The only reason these guys didn't get their faces pushed in is that Buffalo people are nice. The Philly fans lived up to - maybe exceeded - their woeful reputation.
