  1. I'm still upset about Eric Moulds getting flagged for "maliciously spinning the football"
  2. Two regular season games (NE and Atl) plus the playoff game against NE. And two other games where we punted once.
  3. I feel very strongly both ways.
  4. "They approached the start of the new NFL year nearly $7 million over the 2022 salary cap of $208.2 million. What general manager Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills have been able to do since then has been almost incomprehensible." https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/state-of-the-bills-home-runs-keep-being-hit-in-free-agency
  5. I think we retired #5 when Tyrod left, no?
  6. I've been a Bills fan long enough to remember even worse years than the Jauron years. There were the Harvey Johnson years (two stints), the John Rauch years, the Hank Bullough years, the Jim Ringo years...
  7. Why so angry? OK, we can all agree that Terry and Kim got better at coach hiring after RR but I'm less upset about Rex than I was about Dick Jauron.
  8. Maybe Brian Moorman will make a comeback
  9. He was 6 years early but this came true in 2022: We won the offseason
  10. This could replace the Legend of Kiko
  11. When was he ever good enough for us? He was our 4th string quarterback and when the Giants took him they said don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out
  12. If Daboll and Schoen don't want him, nobody should touch him
  13. Maybe he and Josh Rosen can sign with the same team then they'll only be 8 guys short of a minyan.
  14. Leave it to a Boston fan to make this all about themselves Clearly the problem was Farwell which is why he went FAREWELL.
  15. The way it works is the league figures how many comp picks Buffalo is entitled to, then it gives them to New England.
  16. Just ask your favorite Denver fan whether any games were lost. They were forced to play a game without a quarterback in uniform.
  17. The Star Spangled Banner was written in 3/4 time but Whitney sang it in 4/4 time which is a total fail. But her brother had a pretty good jump shot when he played for DePaul.
  18. Anyone remember the game they used to have every summer when the NFL champs would play against a college all-star team? Every year I'd get sucked in because it was the first football on TV in months, and in the pre-game they'd say "the college all-stars are going to find out if this NFL team can handle the WISHBONE" and then the game would start and I'd get bored before the first punt.
  19. I remember when they were trying to sign Joe Cribbs (our star RB of the day) to a new contract in 1982. Ralph offered him $150,000 plus $250 for every rushing yard. Cribbs was about to accept it when Ralph said no, that was a mistake he meant to write $25 per rushing yard. For those of you who weren't around, maybe that will help you understand why Buffalo was always seen as an undesirable place to play.
  20. The best Rochester pizza is Chester Cab on Park Avenue.
  21. If Dalton comes to Buffalo he'll have his own breakfast cereal named after him
  22. So Brian Flores has blown the cover off of the Rooney Rule. He says that the Rooney Rule just forces teams to conduct sham interviews with the obligatory black guy before hiring whoever they want. (Leslie Frazier and Anthony Lynn have endured this over the years.) I've been called a few bad names by people because I've been saying on these boards for some time that the Rooney Rule encourages tokenism and hurts the people it was intended to help. Apparently Brian (the Miami Brian, not the Buffalo Brian) agrees with me.
  23. For a minute there I thought you meant we didn't use Davis Webb enough
  24. I just visited Cincinnati (on my summer baseball road trip) - first visit since graduating UC way too many years ago. It's still nice (though not as nice as it once was) and I made sure to visit the Graeters Ice Cream store in Fountain Square at least once per day. Findlay Market and Over the Rhine are totally gentrified, much like my urban planning professors were advocating back in the '70s.
